Well, after the description, venont the chatter on the scratching!
At first glance this stratum is very well finished, polished ultra-thin, easy to play (thank you jumbo frets), the body is quite light, I would say even a bit lighter than the strats "american standard Made in United States or other" me 2 strats that have 70's and 90's they weigh much more than this one highway is probably becaufe there is a layer of varnish, instead of 4 see 5 on US other models, but the grip however, is very pleasant.
The handle C 'typical of fender is a real treat for beginners and experienced.

UTILIZATION

What bothers me a bit in this whole story is that my two strats, and my les paul have magically found in the closet of this Diablotine returned to shop ... and I play with more I love it! and it costs half the price! looks like the other, nerd! ...
The handle is like a "highway" highway that speak English, it's slippery fast and smooth! Notes take the road without problem! jumbo frets are to compensate for possible "slippage"

My style of music varies, I like the big rock sound, AC / DC, Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, old school yes, but I have over 20 years! and I can venture into sound bluesy, a strat bah so it made for that departing! ask Mr. Hendrix, Clapton or Knopfler!
My favorite amp is the JCM900 head of our English friends in Marshall!
The sounds of this little marvel are both crystalline fat, thou choize!

The access is easy to acute, guitar balanced and not too heavy or light.
Nickels clean sounds (it's still his strong point).

I have been using a an.J 'loves her, before I tried the Epiphone SG or ibanezs (not made for me).
It's true the price of the "myth" is high, but I quickly forgot my good lol.

Anyway, I'm more objective when it comes to my Start, but now I love it.
I have had better guitars markets and not be photos, the trick is that "custom" that I can not understand the enthusiasm of fenderiens.
One day I will buy a telecaster and a GL too.

The Fender Stratocaster highway one guitar is a greatly priced American-built Fender guitar. I was surprised to see how low and competitive the price of this guitar is especially being American-made guitar. At new you can find these guitars for little over $700 which is an exceptional price for an American made Fender Stratocaster guitar. I'm not exactly sure why it is that these are about 400 or $500 less than a lot of their other fender Stratocaster guitars because they have such a great feeling a great tone overall.

These guitars feature in alder body with a maple neck. You have 22 jumbo frets and a 25 inch scale length neck. Most of the hardware is chrome which sets the guitars look off very nicely. I also like the larger headstock which is a very vintage look to this guitar.

SOUNDS

The tone of this is an exceptional tone and can be used in any guitar amplification and setting. Whether you use a clean and with a overdrive pedal in front of it or you're using a high gain amplifier with no pedals this is a great guitar for pretty much any genre of music in any amplifier that you use. It is a great look with its red paint job body and it's white guard and maple neck. Overall it's a beautiful guitar and a price that is just amazing.

I was like listening to a Fender Stratocaster on the neck pick up because I have a great bluesy tone and gives the voicing of a Fender Stratocaster in all of its glory. It's a very versatile guitar and can be used in pretty much any style of music imaginable. The alder wood is my favorite wood in that strat body style as well as the maple neck. So overall this just a great guitar and a great price especially for my needs.

OVERALL OPINION

You can find these guitars right around $730 in the new market which is a great price for an American made guitar. It's a fun guitar and one of the best and most versatile and iconic guitar that is ever been produced. Highly recommend every guitar player looking to get one of the most versatile guitars for recording or digging. This is an awesome guitar and for the price you can't really beat that.

Otherwise I like the varnished wood revealing the (matter of taste), the headstock 70's, but I like a little less mechanical "vintage" but good. Very good finish overall.

UTILIZATION

The handle is going very well for the rest: weight, shape, access to acute, the Standard Start.

SOUNDS

That's the sound of a strat US compared with a standard a little something a bit more, well, can be "nasty" I do not know, yet very warm. I play mainly blues, rock, rhythm n'blue, funk, some jazz on it. Again, this is what is expected of a stratum. And I fully agree with the fact that it takes its full dimension in a good amp.
To summarize, the sound is all good! I actually redouvert the same time the intermediate positions typical strata are excellent and the neck pickup, the sound is not very hot still, not to mention the other positions.
At the store, when I left my purchase initially for a Mexican player classic, 50's or 60's, I do not Savia too, having heard beuacoup well on these models, despite their manufacturing in Mexico. UTILIZATION

The neck is nice and access to acute is very easy for that kind of scratch ... Its ergonomics are not bad at all
(A bit heavy though).
With a fusion of fact and distos echoes we get a great sound (obviously the pickups are not good)

SOUNDS

It is suitable for all styles of music except metal. I'm playing right now on a pedal and a marshall AS50D Zoom and guitar
sounds rather bien.Avec some settings this strat not sound bad.

I've had three months and I love it! I like its shape, color and sound.
I tried an Ibanez and Mexico Standard Start ... nothing comes close to him (personal opinion)

The handle is trs enjoyable but it takes a while beginners getting used to, especially if it has at Gibson. Ergonomics is good, guitar push out the body shape. Only small default: a little heavy (well even when less than a Les Paul) after 2 hours of concert but with a strap drawback is a concern rgl!

SOUNDS

I think this guitar has a sound world quite varied and it is possible to play with any. The original pickups are not exceptional but they are enough. Although Obviously, the big mtal his style is not great but made good with pedals, did the trick. I use this guitar for 3 years, it is when I started the guitar, and really I'm not on my investment. It is a good mid-range guitar (bought new 680), whose sound can be well amlior just by changing the micro because the violin is trs good for this price range. This is the Highway 1 "upgrade" released in late 2006. The first model, although dja trs good, were not the same hunanimit Fender resellers who were not from some Mexican COMPTITE. The Fender Custom Shop has put his nose and a t relook MODEL microphones changs, namely:

Otherwise, the bridge was "vintage" 6 anchors with vibrato of the brand, so without risk.

The nitro lacquer trs end is very special: it has the advantage of leaving "sounding" the wood more easily and inconvnient of being more fragile. For four months I have this guitar, I can say that this varnish patina beautifully with points of friction, and donnnant INTERESTED nuances and highlighting the grain of wood in a beautiful cherry color much mre! We may not like this varnish. See you in 20 years ..... a "relic !!???

If not for the rest, the quality of manufacturing is well within the price range, nothing more, nothing less.

Remember that this is the Start of the range of U.S. 849 euros.

UTILIZATION

Operation is simple, as all the Strat.Tous rglages are possible, the strings do not curl. Just a small tendency to drape out of the middle needle stick, but it can be used to my other guitar or a default of my game! The vibrato is easy rgler. The handle is easy to play.

In its saturated with OCD and the three super distorss Peavey is really thundering for single coil pickups: sisi mtal can play with a Start and I must say that compared to my old Humbuckers Aria, this guitar is very "punchy" and race.Une beautiful personality. I now play with an amp SpiderValve Line 112. The sound of the guitar is of course transcended by the quality of this amp as well as clear sound that sounds (hyper) saturated. Fender has really put the package on its pickups and electronics: it's amazing fishing and ultimately very quiet for single coils.

The Fender Highway One Stratocaster is a newer version of the classic Stratocaster, offering players an American made Strat at a very reasonable price. It's definitely the cheapest Stratocaster that is made in the USA that you'll find out there, and it still has pretty much the same make up as a traditional Strat. It's got three single coil pick ups, a whammy bar, a five way pick up selector, and a volume and two tone knobs. As any experienced Strat player will tell you, this is pretty much the standard make up. Of course it doesn't share all of the same parts are a standard American Strat, but it's pretty close considering the difference in price.

UTILIZATION

The playability of the Fender Highway One Stratocaster definitely passes the Strat test. It's got a great feel to the guitar, and is definitely easy to play. I didn't have a standard Strat available to shoot it out with, but judging from past experiences I would say that it's a pretty close feel to a standard. Perhaps it isn't quite as fluid, but it's hard to tell without playing them back to back. Using the control knobs is super easy as this is the make up that most players will be familiar with for sure.

SOUNDS

The tone of the Fender Highway One Stratocaster is smooth and creamy, just as you'd expect from a Fender Stratocaster. Again, without shooting out this with a standard Strat back to back it's hard to tell, but I was definitely impressed with the overall sound of this guitar. Like all Strats, it's a very versatile guitar, as you're going to get some very different sounds between the three pick ups. Great for playing both lead and rhythm parts, this is pretty much the ideal sound for a guitar give or a take a bit.

OVERALL OPINION

The Fender Highway One Stratocaster is the perfect guitar for those players who are looking for a well built guitar that sounds great, but who don't have the money to drop on a top of the line Stratocaster. This is really a great alternative, as it's made in the USA and is put together extremely well. It's the cheapest American made Strat, and while I'd recommend going with a standard if you're able to, if you're not this is a fine substitute. The Highway One is pretty much the perfect mid level electric guitar.

SOUNDS

I think you can use this guitar for almost every music style depending on the setting, the effects and the amp.

I personally have a Peavey Bandit 112 and a Yamaha DG Stomp pedal... Everything is possible (except Slayer and other extreme stuff...)!

The bridge pickup produces a very twangy and biting sound. Combined with the center pickup, it becomes less aggressive. The middle pickup gives good results for funky rhythm parts but it still sounds twangy. The second pickup combination provides very unique sound landscapes, and the neck pickup is great to play Yngwie Malmsteen solos.

Each pickup combination produces a different sound. It's incredible!

OVERALL OPINION

I changed it for a more expensive guitar and this Highway Strat gives me a better sound quality and more versatility than the previous one.

I've owned many Strats with every single pickup combination (two Seymour Duncan humbuckers, two P90, a DiMarzio HSH combination, two EMG humbuckers, etc.) and this one is the most versatile (even though some others sound better for hard rock and heavy metal...

Very good value for money. I would buy it again.
