I got this item at The Music Centre in Jackson,MI for $110.00. I got this guitar because when I walked in, it was the first thing that came to my eye. I asked the manager about it and he said that it was a great guitar. It was my first guitar and I was searching for an Ibanez so I got it.
I like the pickup switching of the guitar. I also like the 7 strings that it comes with. The tone is very clear and it sounds great. The pearl inlays give a nice look to it.
The fingerprints show up easily and it gets dirty very often. Also the strings that come with it need to be replaced often.
It is a very sturdy guitar and is perfect for any beginner. The guitar is awesome looking.
Overall, I think it is a pretty good guitar! anyone who is reading this should check it out.
I got this in a shop thats quite close to where I live. I preordered it after the original Ibanez (6-string) was sold. They told me the Ibanez they had in stock, and being a KoRn fan and knowing what they play, I thought id ask boust 7's. They had one and I went for it at about £250. Pretty good me thought.
The thing rocks. Dropping the extra b# string down to an A, korn songsa becum a dodle. This also allows you to play other songs written in normal tuning. The pickups are great and the tunning pegs feel godly. The tremolo isnt floydd rose(thank god) and sounds a beast.
the input jack is really shit and always needs tweaking
pretty damn good
buy them if you want to play korn or any other hard rokin' tunes and your strapped for cash
I wanted a decent 7 string with low price and since my last Ibanez was a great guitar i figured why not go with what i know. I bought the guitar at Guitar Center for $250, I talked the guy down from $300 but this may have been him tring to give me the run around but he lowerd the price so don't run to your local Guitar Center and demand the clerk drop the pice 50 bucks.
This is a great guitar, it is made with great quality. It holds it's tune vary well and it has a nice thin neck. It has a nice black finish not a thin finish like some.
It may have just been mine but the pick ups were crap well not that bad but not really good but i replaced them but this is my only complaint about this guitar.
As i said this is a strong durable guitar, i have banged it in the walls, droped it, and kicked the crap out of it and it has only a few minor dents. The Tuners are great and hold tune well, i don't have to tune it for days. This is a great guitar for it's price.
If you are looking for a good first guitar or even a nice upgrade the Ibanez GRX-720 is the 7 string for you.
