USE

The handle is extraordinary. Very quickly, some less flat sleeves has about Ibanez (I've already said about sries "Sabres" of yesteryear), said handle highway, but I think it s 'is not a term pjoratif, I think it is a perfect inning, allowing the game with today's techniques, however, I am not in the GNE for a "blues"

The sound is just fabulous with these original pickups.
I get all the sounds I want. I have good amps and effects essential that all good guitarist must possder, but that said, branch live in an amp, it sounds!
So the double neck is very "round" and ....... Warm, you can play jazz! and yes this guitar is ultra versatile despite its identity "Mtal"
The intermediary position is very strat, and the double bridge is perfect for the big Rock, Hard Rock etc ..;
The characteristic of this guitar is its versatility Makeover

SONORITS

This is an excellent guitar whose configuration allows any play, it's pretty amazing. It possde his own character, his personality Ibanez sound, which is not a neutral sound nor cold as we sometimes hear, rather it DLivre sonorits warm, round with double neck, slamming with more intermediary position and micro plant, and also very prcises for big sound with the neck pickup.
The pickups are excellent qualities, at first, given the excellence of the violin, I envisioned a mics upgrade, or use I aperois me it is useless. The Ibanez sound is nice and easy to work, they are micro less "Marqus" some Seymour Duncan, for me, it's even more, somewhere, I'd say it's professional.
I get really any sound I want.
And without any complex, one can go on directories Les Pauls and Strats, with the comfort and more.
The "Floyd Rose" Ibanez poses no particular problem, it does not eat the sound, sustain level test performed in comparison with the reference number Les Paul, the Iba is not Largu .dropoff window
For me, this accessory if I have not dmentiel use the "Vai" brings me more, and even a srieux more, it's so good and useful to make use of a trmolo moreover, holds well the agreement.

NOTICE GLOBAL

I use it for two years, I appreciates more. If I have to have one guitar, it will be this one. I have other guitars, more chres are no better.

All is well in this guitar and especially the quality for money .... Let me explain .. It is worth 1/3 the price of a Jem, yet it shares the same handle exactly without the tree of life, but it's the same race, the same acastillage and vibrato, only differs vritablement microphones, or microphones that RG 1570 are very close to those of the Jem is a monster versatility.

Aside from finishing details, for 700 euros, Ibanez offers the true sister of Jem that it is sold over 2100 euros!

Jem I know because I have a year! And I bought this for RG 1570 mnager my Jem, well, I'm no frustration combl play this RG.

Quality ratio hell prices, ask questions about the pricing policy of manufacturers. It seems that in each, there are "bugs" as is, items that are very Honoapiilani proposs of prices by other report.

The RG 1570 is the pearl of the Ibanez catalog! Srieuse guitar for any guitarist. 10/10 everywhere.

I've been playing for about 3 years now. I'm mostly in to progressive rock and blues.

This was one of a handfull of Ibanez's at the store. They had two of these, mirage red and blue, mine is blue. Cost was about 1000$ or so.

The Edge trem on this thing is absolutely amazing, rarely goes out of tune etc, even after some real crazy trem work. The Wizard II neck feels just right, not too thin or anything.

The stock pickups were somewhat dull from the start. So after 1/2 year after purchase I replaced the whole set with Duncans - CC, APS-2, APH-1. That made a world of difference. Now this instrument really sings. I also re-did the wiring, so that now it is possible to split either one of the humbuckers alone. Also the rings for the trem arm need replacing quite often.

It's a quality instrument. Absolutely no paint or fretting flaws, everythings is top of the notch.

All in all the price went 1/3 higher from the original purchase, including the upgrades to make it great instead of just good. I'd say this is a intermediate/pro level instrument. It's not everyone's cup of tea, but it is a nice guitar.

I bought this guitar at Sam Ash for $550. I've had a Fender Strat for a while because it was my first guitar and I held on to it for a while, but it was horrible for playing metal riffs so I had to upgrade.

First of all the looks are amazing. I have the guitar in silver and with the black pickups and dark fretboard it looks absolutely amazing. It truly is a beautiful guitar and the fact that it is primarily a hard rock/metal guitar makes it even better. Once you get everything about the guitar set to your liking,(there are alot of customizations you can make along the lines of bridge positioning, pickup height, etc.) it feels great in your hands. For fast palm muting and straight metal riffage I recommend raising the left side of the bridge, so the low E string doesn't rattle, and lowering the right side, for fast soloing. It comes with the Ibanez Wizard neck which is so thin you might not feel it when you're playing, which is good. Also the stock pickups are good for metal tones.(I have mine hooked up to a Boss Metal Zone and it sounds great.)

When I took it out of the box I wasn't aware that you could tweak everything about the guitar using allen wrenches, so when I played it for the first time the low E string had a horible rattle and I got really pissed, wondering how a metal guitar could have a bad low E string. But after reading the manual, I realized that I could raise the bridge, so problem solved. The bridge is also really sensitive to palming so if you are a beginner to metal style playing, take it easy on the bridge and don't push too hard with your palm or your root notes will raise in pitch and sound really bad (I think this can also be tweaked but I haven't tried it yet.) Other than that its a smooth ride.

The quality is incredible. It feels like a professional guitar and just holding it made me want to be a better guitarist. The customization options, while seeming complicated at first, really give you the chance to set up the axe the way you like, which is great for a more experienced guitarist. Great sound as well.

The bottom line is this: if you are a more experienced guitarist and are looking for a great metal axe (and have $550 laying around) go for this right away. The looks, customization and sound are all you'll need to shred for years. If you are a beginner, but still looking for a good metal guitar, go for a cheaper ibanez model, like the rg370.

The RG1570 is the successor to the very famous and successful RG570. It features a basswood body, maple neck and rosewood fretboard. The guitar is equipped with the (then) new Edge Pro floyd, a five way blade switch, volume knob and tone knob. The guitar is a Prestige guitar, so the neck is a five piece neck and ~1mm thicker than the original Wizard.

UTILIZATION

The formula for the RG hasn't changed since the 80s, and it doesn't have to. Everything is pretty much standard affair when comparing this to other RGs. It's built like a rock, but this time, it has the new Prestige neck. The Prestige fretwork is absolutely glorious. You an achieve sick action, and the fret ends felt nicely beveled so you don't snag your hand going up and down the neck. The all access neck joint gives you easy access to the higher frets, and the lower horn rarely gets in your way when doing solo riffs.

SOUNDS

Some people hate basswood, but I love it for lead tones. The stock pickups are weak, but I quickly replaced them with an Air Norton and Steve's Special. I then replaced the switch with a 3 way and completely disconnected the middle pickup as I wasn't using it. The guitar was pretty much set up exactly like John Petrucci's Ibanez models were. The Air Norton gives one of the best lead tones ever, and the Steve's Special sounded tight, clear and articulate. DiMarzios really jive well with basswood guitars.

OVERALL OPINION

Overall, I recommend checking out either the 570 or the 1570. All of these are great guitars that are more geared towards the shred guitarist. Anybody looking for a higher performance guitar owes it to him or herself to at least try one of these guitars and see why they're so popular.

UTILIZATION

Handle very fast and very easy especially for solos. With good access to the 24th and no problem Frisse along the sleeve. The ergonomics are very good: not too heavy despite a large thickness and stability at stake as sitting upright. For sound I have to say now that I have two active EMG pickups my sound is absolutely huge, but I changed the pickups because the bases ... they were average.

SOUNDS

Guitarist of trash and metal in general sound and look of the scratches and it suits me perfectly fits perfectly with my Marshall Valvestate 8080 (May would be even better on a t ^ te Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier but ... ). By putting a good amount of bass and treble and midrange and little by going with the neck pickup tone background gives her a very aggressive (type metallica).

OVERALL OPINION

For 1 year I use it and I did not always find fault: it's really a super skyscraper!
Good quality / price ratio: especially not to buy the top model: the pickups are really bad dimarzios better to buy the lower model (just change the pickups) and replace two doubles. I think in this price range it surpasses BC Rich Jackson and others.

UTILIZATION

-The handle is enjoyable trs, trs end, good ergonomics, fairly quick, not too broad

Personally, my weight does not dplait, trs trslgre, ergonomics is good, no matter the height to which the guitar is.
-It is easy to get a good sound, good sound trs see if amplification follows ... Later I may be replacing the pickups with EMG for even better sound, but for now the sound suits me much.

SOUNDS

-The sound is just be my style of music, I'm plutt tourn mtal, heavy or extreme, and the sound is fine. I would also prciser the sound of this guitar should have just about every style I play both blues, punk or mtal and sound for me always, you just have to rglage good on the amp ...
-I play without effects, and I played on one head and one MG 100 HDFX MG412A baffle and the sound made suits me perfectly.
-The sound is good on any trs rglage.
-All sound of this guitar I like.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for only two days ago and I am sure DJ is a real rgal. I think I will keep it long and if I have to buy one I think I probably resume the same.

The only thing I blame peus this guitar, it may be the lack of color, see a troisime quatrime color (mirage always) should be even more I think, even if the Mirage Blue color suits me much. Otherwise I find the violin trs trs good. The hard thing about tui I liked, I think it aid me in my choice.

I try several guitars before buying it, as Jackson RR3, or BC Rich Zombie and that is the dernire I try and I do not regret having chosen it plutt than others.

The report price is plutt good quality, as I said above, this guitar is excellent, the tui included with rigid silent, I pay 859 and I think it's plutt a good price for the quality of this guitar.

Exprience with this choice I would do probably, I advise all those who want to pass up a notch suprieur the low end and want a versatile guitar.

- This guitar is a guitar made in Japan ... SERIES beautiful violin even if it's not a gibson! Mine is blue with purple reflections mtal. The varnish is fragile so be careful!
- There are 24 jumbo frets us comfortable trs (discussed later ...). There are three microphones: the double V7 in the neck position, the simple position intermdiaire S1 and finally the double V8 in the bridge position (config MSM).
- The bridge has the license Pink Floyd: it grows perfectly blends into the treble and bass. Ngatif single point of this type of bridge ... is the change of strings. It takes forever change compared a normal bridge.
- There is a volume pots and one for the bass and treble. The microphone has slecteur 5 position.
- The handle is of type Wizard (curve or hollow with rosewood fingerboard so very nice for comfort.
- I put 9 because it is a good guitar gnral trs.

UTILIZATION

- Ah the handle ... Here we go again As I said above the handle .. ben: it's what Ibanez's quick, comfortable prcis and trs. Ideal for taping.
- Access in acute is not difficult.
- The guitar has a trs good ergonomics in terms of shape but I find it a bit heavy ... but good.
- Here I'll put a little 9 because there is no better handle on Ibanez. 9 because I am demanding and that nothing is perfect.

SOUNDS

- I was playing punk, now I play the new mtal! But I changed scratching I do not play it ... well almost.
- I play on a small Marshall amp and a AVT50 pdalier Boss ME50.
- I find the small RG versatile enough! We obtain the desired sound quickly. In his clear, the microphone position intermdiaire the S1 is not bad at all. I find her quite round. For crunch, I recommend the bridge pickup position and intermediate (between S1 and S8). Finally saturated the V8 is quite a good job: his incisive and prcis. My amp does not reproduce the exact sound of the RG because it's Marshall. Same advice when I chang of the microphones because they do not like her or forcment you dig the sound with a good amp ... try it!
- The score will be 7 because the pickups are Ibanez (not the champions of micro ...) but when even a good versatile sound.

OVERALL OPINION

- This will make 4 years that I have! No dfaillance up l!
- I love its shape sexy! It is very easy take in hand, guitarists beginners will be met. Its versatility, rapidity and comfort are the CHARACTERISTICS of the RG! Floyd the application a little getting used to but nothing mchant. Too bad the varnish has s'enlve some places ...
- I tried Washburn, Peavey (dsol. ..), Fender and I think the RG has no worries come at the price it was sold o!
- It's coming! The quality-price ratio is simply great for the mileu end! I sell mine because I dsormais a IC400 iceman!
- But in hindsight I do not regret the purchase at all! I would do this choice because I pass trs good times with him! I needed something else to go ... Farewell RG snif!

still quite runny compared to a DiMarzio or EMG, however, they are very good, the microphone
handle is great for bluesy solos coupled with a little micro central bright arpeggios
follies (try the radiohead's foot) single central microphone is also very
good (with some adjustments Another Brick in the wall is superb) the neck pickup coupled
gives us the central flapping sound (great for sweet home alabama) and micro
handle is great for metal and palm mutes are pretty cool!
-> I prefer no sound and do not hate no more ...

Here I put 9 because perfectionism (I insist it's still good)

OVERALL OPINION

-> I'm using it now for a year and a half and never made me wrong good (except
varnish but I repainted ...)

- Single point me ESG: the positioning of microphones. The config MSM bothers me a bit because the single middle ESG me sometimes a little bit. It is not uncommon that my mdiator over ripe. I remove the song or demean ... Matter of habit that said ... Bcp qd I play it, a password.

- I tested it on small machines (Roland Cube, Fender GDEC) and Marshall on the big studio ... Each time, the sound is by appointment! The sound is still a bit cold, but prcis and powerful. With a little fat one disto all that Global Warming is really not bad. With the new set of microphones, it's really nice!

We hear too often the word versatility, here it is for the hard of any kind and that's what we want, do not think it's going to do with marroon 5

I know there is the simple to the center, but personal, I had him down almost to the max that it hinders my favorite pick, so it's a little too far for many rang:-s even clean

Otherwise it's prestige in the series Ibanez (not Mess it), not aesthetic effect, so here you pay the sound and playability, you pay no graphics and flashy.

Do not look for versatility

These are a great value for quality. You get an actual edge tremolo. Japan made quality and hardware. In my opinion these are some of the most well constructed guitars in the world. In fact I would argue that you would have to pay 3 times the cost to find a better made guitar. They are just that good. It has the traditional RG body with basswood. Wizard neck. You know the drill. 24 frets. HSH pickups. It's a shred machine.

UTILIZATION

Arguably the best feeling guitar I've ever played. The neck is a dream. Also, the hell carve is a great improvement over the old RG design. It's one of the best designed instruments of all time I think. Great feel and look. Weight is good. It's just near perfect for a shred guitar. The electronics are solid. Best of all The Edge bridge is possibly the best trem ever built. I hate to sound so ecstatic about this guitar, but I have played a lot of super strat types and the RG is by far the best feeling one out there.

SOUNDS

Here is where it falls short. I use a number of amps, but typically I like to play my RG's through a Splawn quick rod or a Mesa Stiletto. Here's the deal though. The stock IBZ pickups are pretty much unremarkable. Are they horrible. No. They sound decent but they lack character. Ibanez designed these to attempt to be all things for all players and the result is a bland and confused sounding set of pickups. For some players they will be okay. It really depends on whether you know what sounds you want. Personally I like flavor so I change them out in every RG I buy.

A lot of guys who with the Tone Zone/Air Norton combo in these, which is fine. Personally I find them a little bit bassy in the rosewood necked RG's. In my RG I have a Super 3 and a Breed neck. They compliment each other pretty well. Fairly high gain pickups. It really depends on what sounds you want, however I've found that the RG's just sound better with Dimarzio's and particularly high gain pickups. With the stock pickups I give it a 5. With good replacements it's an 8 or 9.

OVERALL OPINION

The value here is unbelievable. If you are a metal/hard rock player, you can't do better for under $1600. I mean that. It's a stripped down player's axe. With a pickup switch it's unbeatable. The fretwork is great and the craftsmanship an hardware is top notch. I've owned 4 or 5 of these and they're all great. Go pick up a used one for a few hundred. You won't regret it.

UTILIZATION

- The handle is a little wide and flat, a real highway.
- Access to acute is fabulous with the dimensions of the handle and chamfers.
- The shape is perfect, comfortable, you feel immediately at ease sitting as standing. The weight is easily tolerable for an instrument of this quality.
- The Floyd if he is nice with its low profile is also apparently very stable, it would like the agreement.
- Vacuum Sound is nice, it sounds not too bad, although it is fairly neutral (lime requires). Once connected you can feel quality microphones and sound very different (I love the clean sound of S1).

SOUNDS

I play mainly metal (heavy / trash), sometimes rock and hard rock.
With my little Peavey Blazer 158 15W sounds are not bad at all.

As we get clean Start tones type (V7), Telecaster (V7 + S1), the slamming of a beautiful stained reverb (S1) or snapping (V8). By fiddling a little amp settings all goes well with a special mention for the S1.

We go to the distortion with a Line6 Über Meta l, € 60 bought used: it is powerful, heavy crunch or more depending on the settings of this terrific machine metal! Good level of output for two humbuckers, a lot of grain. It screams (harmonics), it's hard, really good but it just lack of precision in heavy saturation (yes it's good but not Seymour Duncan eh ...).
* Edit * With Digitech RP350 multi effects, it gains in warmth and precision, it sends a lot. But we are not at all in the field of EMG for example, is less powerful, less surgery.

OVERALL OPINION

I've had it since June and it is a real treat!

My favorite? Its form, the (s) sound (s), the handle (Râââââh lovely!), The superb Flight Case.

In terms of complaints:
the galley (question settings) at the start of Pro Edge Floyd, when you have not used it's weird ... * Edit *: after a while of use it can be done, and note that this is an excellent model, it is not even tune the nag.
the look a little too wise (the benchmark "shark teeth" and an aluminum pickguard like on the RG350 2550EX or I would have liked) * Edit * I added a pickguard Ibanez, the same as the 2550EX (70 €, not given Ibanez mister), it rips at look! (Photo required)

I tried a LAG Arkane AF-200, an Epiphone Les Paul Zakk Wylde, an LTD MH-400 NT and a Jackson Dinky DK2M and it is the Ibanez Strongly believes me the most, mainly because of his race so fine and versatility.

List price € 870.

I would do without hesitation that choice, except to take a higher-end Ibanez (random or RGT320Q the 2550EX), a really good guitar!

The Ibanez Prestige factory in Japan is where they make their best guitars. These guitars get more attention and quality control than all the other Ibanez guitars. The RG1570 is the modern version of the classic RG570. It is made in the Ibanez Prestige factory in Japan and the quality really shows. Like most Ibanez RG's it features a basswood body with a maple neck and rosewood fretboard. The prestige models get a 5 piece neck for extra stability. Coming from a guitar with high output pickups to this shows you how bad some factory pickups can be. Their guitars match up well with aftermarket pickups. Most people only put Dimarzios in Ibanez guitars but other brands work well too. A pickup change can help get a heavier sound out of the basswood. With the single coil in the middle you must remember that the single coil will produce much more ambient noise than the two humbuckers. So keep this in mind when you are switching pickups. If you are looking for a straight metal tone a set of EMG's could make this guitar a monster.
