Easel kind Flyod rose 580 low profile jackson (Schaler) rgl great performance.
Low string action is possible, the intonation is great!
The handle is wide and not too flat for jackson, I like it but it typfaut love.
IN contrast, Shreders and bluesmen (or both) does not dtesterons I think.
Note: NOT ONE problem finishing, everything is perfect (c uncommon even on e grates 2000)!
Finally the price: 440 !!! This is great!

USE

ALL bathes, sounds are versatile, reliable c, funk, blues, hard, thrash, solo, type strat sounds simple in its clean, big distortion harmonics with the humbucker, single crunch as well as on the double.
Bon remains a jackson, so even when marked rock c (c + punchy than strat c velvety least, there + low)

SONORITS

All sounds are good, except the jazz all styles are possible!
Taping, the sweeping and legato are facilits by good frets.

UTILIZATION

nice handle, access to acute is easier than a stratovolcano, it is light, like any guitar
for the modern Metal. cutting resembles a stratovolcano, the pan of the body as the right arm rest is very comfortable, especially the body color which is very attractive.

SOUNDS

This guitar fits especially Metal (thrash, progressive, heavy, hardcore) or hardrock and 70's rock, but also for a blues Eric Clapton for micro middle if you want to jam, or it is disastrous if you are asked to play a piece of pop or soft, the sound will seem very sharp and jazzy arrangements are not very accessible on such a fine handle.
I tried it on a Marshall JCM900, a VS2000, a fender frontman 15 on such a sound, and the sound is not too different, the signal from the microphone is quite powerful.
if you play the verse with the microphone in the middle, you can play solo pushing the selector (easily accessible) to the micro-bridge, and it makes a big difference, suddenly you will not need to change the effect of distortion.

OVERALL OPINION

I play this guitar for 5 years, I've played before on an old Samick and a lag, but it has inspired me much more! it is much more than its price at 650 € I was not expecting this luxury, I tried my Jackson V cuts and kelly form, it is not very suitable for training sitting, but Dk2 is versatile for home use or scene, I'll do the same choice if I had the same amount with zero regrets!

UTILIZATION

_Manche Very enjoyable to play (very good finishes), both for rhythm and for solos.
_L'accés To acute is impecable, the jumbo frets (quite high and wide) very well finished also allow you to play with ease and very clean.
_Trés Well balanced in terms of weight and light (rather subjective to the weight).
_The Floyd and impeccable mechanical (possibly need to tighten the nuts on the buttons, or solves a cable (which I have been central to the microphone soldered, but I do not open), it is a risk on a new guitar and it's still not a grueling task at most 5 minutes will suffice).
_It Is very easy to get a good sound, the handle is right (test harmonics do not detect any problems).

SOUNDS

_The Seymour Duncan pickups are of very good quality and not Duncan Design as the model pre-update.
-This is a double SH4 micro level out enough so without falling into extreme enough in the mind vintage ideally suited for hard rock, heavy metal, but should not be the big rhythmic death, difficult to use in her clear, but perfect for distortion impecable fast solos for which he appears quite clean and very rich in harmonics, as well as the rhythm or it has a lot of grain.
The simple two-microphones are STK-S1, vintage Start type pickups (humbucker), EXCELLENT in clean or with a slight overdrive, it really feels to play on a stratum, excellent for all styles whether it's blues jazz solos or even requiring a very modern clean. These pickups are really exellent, though this might not necessarily please everyone, it's true that one might be tempted to put a small hotrail in the neck position in place of the STK-1 for a bigger sound ... but after it's a choice we must make, the value price of this guitar justify such an investment for those who désireré a more modern sound.
_Quoiqu'il Either this guitar is rather directed at the vintage sounds (which for me personally just did), after all of the amp depends on which branch ...

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for about three months and I am fully satisfied, the value for money is really exellent (449 € chez Thomann ...) quality finisher is impeccable, the microphones very good (and are therefore even brand if you do not like you can always sell them ...
Anyway, I find this guitar really exellent.

In the 80s Jackson went out to make the best playing shredders guitars in the world. One of the models was the Dinky. It is named Dinky because of the slightly smaller body than normal. The Dinky is pretty much a Jackson Soloist but with a bolt on neck. It is priced lower than the Soloist respectively. The guitar features an Alder body with a rock maple bolt on neck. The fretboard is rosewood with jumbo frets and Jacksons famous compound radius fretboard and Jacksons trademark sharkfin inlays. he compound radius allows the for great playability on both ends of the neck. Near the headstock on the low end the radius is 12 inches which means the fretboard is slightly more curved up there to make playing chord shapes more comfortable. Near the high end the radius is 16 inches which makes shredding and lead playing effortless. It comes with Seymour Duncan pickups from the factory. The pickups are two STK-1 single coils in the neck and middle with a JB TB4 in the bridge. These pickups are similar to what you get in the high end SL1. You get a Jackson Licensed Floyd Rose which is of decent quality.

UTILIZATION

Because the guitar is bolt on construction it will have a heel at the neck joint unlike the higher end Jacksons that are neck through. Jackson has done their best to make sure the heel does not get in the way. They have recessed the heel and the back of the guitar. The jumbo frets let you get a nice action and the compound radius fretboard means that you can comfortably play on both ends of the neck. Unlike on the neck through Jacksons this guitars bolt on neck means you get a bare neck. Many people prefer the feel of bare wood to a finished neck. A finished neck can sometimes get sticky as you play the guitar and sweat. The licensed Floyd Rose tremolo is okay and will work fine with a proper setup.

SOUNDS

With the humbucker and two singles these guitars can offer up very versatile sounds. They can do any type of music. Coming with quality Seymour Duncan pickups from the factory put its ahead of most companies guitars which just come with in-house pickups. The middle pickup allows you to emulate strat tones while the bridge humbucker lets you rip it at high gain for all your metal songs. You must remember that two of the 3 pickups are single coils so they are not noise cancelling. With the neck and middle pickups by themselves you will get more noise than you would with a humbucker by itself.

OVERALL OPINION

The Jackson DK2 is a great mid range shred guitar. It has all the features of the high end Jackson models but with a few construction changes that allow a drastically lower price. The factory Seymour Duncan pickups mean you wont need to swap them out when you get the guitar so thats a plus too. The bare neck is something it has over its more expensive neck through cousins. If you are looking for a traditional super strat shred guitar the Jackson DK2 is one of the best.

The sound-fat humbuckers is very powerful, then there is something expressed between the microphones, is a very fat at the end. For the clean sound is also happening, even if guitars are definitely better sound clear, but it speaks well of Jackson!
