dbx 1066 Dual Compressor Limiter Gate

dbx 1066Published on 11/01/01 at 15:00
I bought this product from Guitar Center, new, for $400.

Has a counter switch that removes unwanted low frequency. Has an auto button that sets the attack and release on the commpressor.

It is dificult to find the settings you want on the commpressor, and doesnt sound good on bass.

The construction is very good on this peace of equipment while the quality is just the same as any other commpressor, in my opinion.

I think that it is pritty good but i think that it is a little highly priced for the quality sound that you get.

Gate / Compressor / limiter analog
So XLR connectors and jacks assymtriques or symtriques
+ Sidechain loop

USE

The config is like most other comp.
This is not facil WELL edit like any comp.
The manual is well and gives the same advice dition giving bases.

SOUND QUALITY

This is the high end of DBX, and rpute has not done nothing.
The comp and gate are excellent. I used some of the limit.
What I prefer: all
I dteste: nothing

NOTICE GLOBAL

I for one year. I put all the sauces.
The sound is the manufacturing quality is presents too!
It's not behringer knob that turns oval and fears that remains in the fingers.

The 1066 is a compressor, limiter, gate, expander 1U rack analogue.
I / O jack and XLR jack with sidechain in

UTILIZATION

Configuration very simple and intuitive.
The manual is sometimes little comprhensif in French (translation from English mdiocre). It is also not specially useful for someone who knows a little.

Rglage buttons are robust, have a good grip.

SOUND QUALITY

I use them for the bass drum and toms of the battery.
The effects are effective, good quality, and each has a great deal of rglages trs.
My prfr effect is the gate, at the sound reproduction.

It is a device trs good quality sturdy, quite heavy (2.3 kg).

Overall I am satisfied with TRS. APRs have test other devices often less expensive, it is the only one who really got love me. Much more than a Behringer, but for quality sound and unrivaled manufacturing: report qualitprix trs good.
I buy a second without hsiter, ds that I ncessaire money.
