Used in the studio before having Beyer and Sennheiser!
No presence of the media, no linearity in the headphone world famous!

In short:
The K240 has a worldwide reputation for 25 or 30 years ...
It is found now available from Baker to 100 euros or less ...!
What I think:
No presence of the media, no linearity!
I do not understand the interest for this headset outside the comfort!
Reputation why:
The sound engineers rarely use the headphones in the studio (it tires the head, ears and mind! Not care and the mix up!) Is just a tool to listen to a detail, a tail reverb example
The headphone is used in closed studio by musicians in the cabin, and there, the K240 is actually rather good because very comfortable and not aggressive (for lack of media)
Yes to the musician, not for the sound engineer!
A small Sennheiser HD25 made in Ire is much higher linearity and relatively close to the monitors that the 4412 JBl pocède!

Finally say that the headphone must be close to tapping that was, provided only that they are to really listen linear (a piano is a piano, a trumpet a trumpet and a Rhodes Rhodes ... but there is also the Pianet T Hohner ...
