An absolutely excellent, there is no equivalent on the plant. headphones over 300 euros have that behave.

Yes without any hesitation. I expect a successor in hopes it even better!

I use it for almost a year before I tried sony, the akg, the grado beats (but it should burn them when making music).

What I like about this headset is its accuracy (perfect for EQ, reverb work etc etc).
Neutrality (all spectrum is well transcribed. Its strength, its very nice cord that stretches over several meters.

What I like the least ... Well I do not know. Apart from its mouth can be dj headphones that could pass for a technics headphones.

I use this headset for monitoring Mao. It is very nice to wear, perfectly fits my big head (haha). Over time it is very tiring for the ears. After it remains a headphone necessarily so after two or three hours it starts to warm up a bit but it's still excellent.

For headphones in this price range, yes it breathes soldité and robustness. Its connectivity is not detachable, but when you know you are gaining audio quality, that's all bah benef.
For my case, since I have less than a year, no it is not degraded.

Almost perfect balance, very good bass (although I have read that some people find them a bit forward, which is not my case), mids are sublime, especially in the low tops, and treble do not attack each ear hair while remaining detailed ultras. Its noise level is excellent, it can really send the wood. Only downside, it lacks serious low noise.
Rated insulation is not a bullshit thing with reducing external noise, so you get still a little extérieux. But it's a studio headphones, not a nomad headphone to ride around town.

I have not tried a lot of models before it, but I am extremely satisfied with the quality of the product!

I use this headset to my home to play the guitar for hours without disturbing neighbors. The materials used are so comfortable, it is very ergonomic, fleece headband, beautiful design, and a super twisted cable!

A pair of Audio-Technica's ATH-M50's can go a long way. People talk about not mixing on headphones, but the truth is, even if monitors may provide a better response and soundstage than headphones, great headphones are still cheaper than awful monitors, and infinitely more portable and versatile, so if anything, the utility of headphones far outweighs that of monitors if you have a pair that can sonically stand up to them.

That being said, the Audio-Techinca ATH-M50's are a treat in every way. It's a shame I don't personally own a pair of them, but when I tried my friend's pair on against my trusty Sony MDR7506's they blew them out of the water (and you all should know that the Sony MDR7506's are a very VERY respected pair of headphones).

First, they feel like a dream. The ATH-M50's have that inexplicably difficult to achieve quality of being neither too tight nor too loose. They sit right on your ears and you feel like you could wear them for hours if it came to it. While my MDR7506's are quite comfortable, I tend to take breaks after every hour or so.

Second, they are some of the most accurate sounding headphones I've ever heard this side of $200. Even when using them purely for music-listening, they pick up things that you would never hear, even against other studio headphones. I heard from my friend that even before the burn-in period, they blow their competition out of the water. According to his often dubious testimony, (he's a bit of a joker) he put them on and stared at the wall listening to an album just for the sake of hearing things he never heard before. The one thing he mentioned that improved after the burn-in was the soundstage. The sound, according to him, felt slightly narrow before the burn-in. When I tried them, they were wide-open.

So there's not much more to say about a pair of great headphones. They feel great, and they sound great. As a monitor-deficient person, I am searching for the headphones that will get as close to monitors as possible.

Headphones aren't exactly capable of that, but I would certainly buy the Audio-Technica ATH-M50's instead of my MDRs if I could do it over again. They're that good.

The Audio-Technica ATH-M50's are a set of high quality studio headphones. They're perfect in a recording studio setting or anywhere else where you might need a great sound coming through directly to your ears. The ATH-M50's can be used either for monitoring during recording or for simple listening and playback purposes. I'm not sure I'd try these for mixing, as in general this isn't always the best idea. However, if there was a set of Audio Technica headphones that you could mix on, these would be it. The headphones feel very sturdy and definitely professionally made and they fit on your head nice and snug as to insure very little bleed coming out of them. They've got a closed back and on the end of the wire is an 1/8" connection which also includes a screw on adapter for turning it into a 1/4" connection. As far as sound quality is concerned, these are definitely a top notch sounding set of headphones. I've really only used them for monitoring during recording, but judging from this sound, I think they'll be useful more or less across the board. I don't know if Audio Technica has a set of headphones that are of a higher quality or more expensive, but these are definitely the best that I've seen from them. The price doesn't make them the cheapest pair of headphones out there but, but nonetheless they're a pretty good deal when you compare them to most of the other headphones in the price range. I don't know how well they'll last over time, but again they seem like they're made very well and should last a while as long as you treat them properly. If you're looking for a high quality set of all purposes studio headphones, the Audio-Technica ATH-M50's definitely need to be on the list to check out.
