The weak point is perhaps the instructions in German and in English when you buy it in France, but that, I guess that that is the fault of Access ...

UTILIZATION

I'd say it's just fantastic and in all areas. The bass is punchy, the sheets are planing desire, leads to dfendent trs well and SFX are great. I've experienced a lot of synths in my little life and I must admit that this is the first one that marks this point. However, do not merely cost the factory presets. It's when you start tweaking sound that this machine will express all its power. Regarding the formulation of good old analog synths, this is by far the best. UTILIZATION

UTILIZATION

The manual is DUTCH to me, but never used a hardware synth before. The user interface is a bit small and fuck a bouty, but then i suppose you could use the Sounddiver program that comes with it. I have had it a month now and i know where everything is in the menus and feel very comfortable flitting through them at the speed of shit off a shovel. I think the manual lets it down.

Its well solid, buttons are gritty and solid feeling, and i now have mines in the rack so no probs there.

SOUNDS

Psychadelic trancers love machine, a bit limited on real music instrument sounds. That is until i download the FREE PATCHES!!!!

At the beginning we miss a lot of things since they are into the menus but with time, we get used to the menus & shortcuts and we don't ever think about that, it becomes s natural that u forget u wishes. The manual I got is good, printed in english and covers every aspect of the synth.

never contacted access nor the vendor for a problem. IMO it it robust, such a machine is intended to travel in concerts & live gigs. Til now never had any problem.

SOUNDS

Great sounds from every kind from basses to leads to strings..... offers a wide range of possibilities and can easily replace other synths.. btw, since the day i got it haven't used my bass station & VSTi yet

I usually forget to call my GF when i am tweaking it I love this red-eyed black beast, it is so.......exciting. BUY IT

The manual could do with some graphic representation and better tutorials.

It probably is robust enough but I have to be a bit sceptical about the robustness of the 3 octave keyboard.

The manual is not very good. I have relied on forums for most queries and there is a brilliant one at www.sunesha.nu/virusforum. The people here really know their stuff and are happy to help new users. When you get a Virus C you feel part of a community.

Depends what gig!! your sister's wedding or a coke addled illegal party in some wood. It's really well built though, knobs feel good and there's plenty of weight to it. But buy any synth, turn it to an angle, drop it on the floor and tell me what happens!!

SOUNDS

The sound is fantastic, you only have to see all the reviews over the internet to find this out. It's got it's own character, a saturated kind of sound with body to it. Definitely not thin. It can best be described as moody, smooth and aggressive.

OVERALL OPINION

I love this synth and if it got stolen I would tear the thief into bloody shreds. It's got it's own personal character and a BIG sound.

The Virus C is massively powerful. I would have liked more modulation slots but hey, it works for me, the manual kind of sucks but if you already know some basics I don't think you'll have any problems

Very easy to use IMO, some users complain it's difficult and unintuitive but I can't agree with them at all, IMO it's very very easy, there are some annoying bugs but nothing serious

mine is in perfect shape looks very solid, some users have issues with the knobs, not me
