+ It is without hesitation the motorized tray that is special and charm of this board, I also diraais hybrid mode.
+ Hot cues and samples can be stored

- There are so many functions that can be lost at the beginning,

It is almost unbeatable, the deck plays all formats and is compatible Midi.

For someone who wants to have all the functionality of a cdj and find touch vinyl or know what this board is to take. But it is clear who would have benefited most (re) known because it did not turn pale before a Pioneer

The Denon DJ DN-S3700 has a 9 inch platter, and it feels very much like some of the vinyl platters that I have used over the years. When I first purchased this table top CD/MP3 player I was not sure if I would like it do to being used to working with only vinyl for so many years. I knew that working with MP3’s would make more sense and it would be a less load to have to carry but I wanted to still feel like I was working with vinyl. The Denon DNS3700 didn’t make me feel like I was on a vinyl turntable but it still feels pretty close.
Using this table top platter is pretty simple, even if it is your first time or if you are coming from another similar style unit then you will have no problems adjusting to it because they are all pretty much the same. It has a high torque direct drive motor that pushes the platter which feels like a vinyl record on a slip mat to some extent.
The LCD Display is also pretty good because it gets bright in poor lit rooms and clubs so it is still easy to see what is going on. There are also some digital effects on the DN-S3700, some of the ones that I found myself using the most is sweep, stutter, echo, and flanger. There are a total of 5 built in effects that are all very good and 3 platter effects.
This unit is also built very well; it does not seem to be made out of cheap materials and seems to be holding up great. It took me a while before I was fully comfortable with it but once I used it a lot it felt like second nature. I recommend this to someone who is just starting out with this style of turntables and wants a great quality one from the start. There are cheaper ones on the market though for beginners.

Platinum used a little over a year coupled with 2 MK2, I have a Numark Axis9 also (no comment ...). The DN-3700 is a very good turntable, intuitive, accurate to scratch really exelente with its wide plateau, it is a treat to wedge a piece. Simpa effects especially the delay préfaire although I have it on the mixing desk, and a filter good enough for me (the analog of the Allen & Heath a killing). I put everything on a USB drive (this was the goal) not even used the drive ...
So huge convenience, no need to burn, nothing more reliable than the USB drive, never had a problem.

Abordont the negatives because there are still:
By starting with the lightest, it's a Christmas tree (the LEDs of all colors).
At the pitch accuracy is there, but still not the top, I know if it will ever happen, but hey nothing to do with the axis9 fortunately.
The big downside is to accelerate the piece, by touching the edge of the plateau is sensitive as a TSB and not as a Technics, so do not have ended with the + - certe which is very precise, but the charm staple for those who are used MK2 turntables vinyl.

Denon has take a step forward in proposing this model, therefore I advise them to remove these wholes gadjets effect, for this focus on a plateau heavier and even maybe a little bigger.


This remains one of the best CD players in the market, well thought out, with one big negative: the acceleration and braking of the manual tray that has nothing to do with the MK2 Technics.

Proper value for money compared to Pioneer.

Too bad.

.. The possibility to read the mp3 on the USB key. But still I have a lot of points against a ngatifs: Premire, trs is slow, I also had quite a few rules of my decks by searching for t pieces and have forced the restarting; deuximement despite my cls USB are only 16 GB, the search is tedious and slow. why not put a navigation function of iPod or iTunes, why not support the libraries at the same time? Even worse, I who achte my songs mostly in AAC (j'espre not be the only one), it only reads mp3, Espron an update fixes that. Last point about this USB key, why have an ethernet cable between the two plates which is of almost nothing, they could have a music sharing between the two plates in this way, another point has amliorer with an update.

I have used it for one month now.
At first I was a little disturbed to timing, but now it's going it's great!

Pros: turntable vinyl mode which makes me remember my first mix on technics,

Loops and the effects I'm not a hardcore user but from time to time ti gives more to the mix,

Although the USB mode, which allows a quick playlist on hand,

The screen displays and search for titles comprehensive enough

Cons: the play buttons and cue which initially seem a little soft (user CDJ 500 II y 'hey yes still XP10 and which for me is the best controller associated with the software bison)
Be careful though not to rely only BPM DDMJ even after analysis, make sure that the tempo is stalling.

Overall very good turntable shame that Denon does not provide for the sharing of hard disks through the RJ.
After several hours of mix I can say that they are efficient enough and for those who love vinyl, the feel is very similar technics.

The platter-splinning / direct drive platter.
-Precision pitch.
-Ergonomics

Minimum:
With MP3-VBR-encoded, impossible to search "on the fly" forward / backward in the song (via 2 buttons searchs front / rear)
-No native support for Traktor, very disabling for me!
-Pitch bend buttons fragile as rubber (I broke one after a year of use with 2 evenings per month, so I had to order the replacement part to 19 euros each)
- No display of the waveform of the audio tracks (via CD or USB key), regardless of whether it is in both CD-Audio MP3/WMA or = to go through the Denon Music Manager software for analyze all its tracks UPSTREAM (prior to the evening) because only this software that analyzes and create the waveform then reproduced on the screen of the plate.

Hybrid Mode Midi proposed by Denon for a little over two months is not 100% reliable in Traktor. The timecde generated by the plate is not recognized as such by Traktor which after several tests, does not operate quietly this feature in production (evenings mixes) and I spend on the problems of instabilities and complexities mappings MIDI ... it DIY but not seriously. In short, unusable for me live!
