Nothing to say, it's a good shovel. So either I came across an exception, or they were able to offer a very good violin at a very reasonable price. I got it by exchanging it against a violin with a friend who wanted to get started.
The violin is robust, just enough precision and it is already very important! However, I did change three things: a 3-ply pickguard that I found prettier, mechanical (Arf!) And a metal jack plate. Recently I changed the pickups.

UTILIZATION

This guitar has a great handle and what it takes to attract aficionados Telecaster. There is also this strange peculiarity specific to Tele: in "crunch" mode on the amp (tube, Blues Deluxe) when you lower your volume, the sound does not change: you just have the same crunch, weaker . This is especially obvious with the bridge pickup.

The twang is discreet, and you'd better be very familiar with your amp, because the sound can quickly turn into a "phony" if you use it on an amp that you do not know. To remedy this, I removed the original pickups and Chinese is installed Hot Classics TRT2 made in the USA and there it is much better! Cheaper than DiMarzio or Duncan, but they work very well. My favorite seller malignant (Epernay) made me a true marvel for cheap!

The pickup installed on these unit is so far so fair.. of course for reducing the cost products, it has less bright on neck even the tone knob were boosted, and less 'twang' from original tele I`ve expected, I always boost the presence from my headamp to get close the original tele sound, but the accuracy was distorted haha.. poor my babies..

Hmm.. let`s see the contruction, nice alder body with one-piece maple neck and fretboard, seems like Fender standard telecaster, crafted in china for lower cost product not the quality, it`s body is not too much different with Fender tele, I bet one step lower only than the body that Fender used, cause they always use poplar/ash/premium alder not like these affinity series.
Affinity has a fair tele sound at that prices, quite warm tone on the neck and not bad tele oriented on the bridge, My fave is when the switch positioned in the middle... less `twang` with more clarity and brightness (at that prices of course!) not bad...

I possde this guitar for over a year and I'm really happy! I wanted at all costs but a telecaster with a budjet trssrr MODEL silent only that my port. I was not trying to empch MODELS honnreux over which a fender mexico. And frankly the price difference is I believe unfair! Because the sound of Split is really flat, too smooth, too dirty. I think a change of microphone is necessary even when, especially for the neck pickup, though the sound it produces is really a big favorite, the lack of power is really dsagrable s' it is to switch the microphone for a solo or if you do not want to push the amp too! It's a good guitar to start without spending a fortune and be a telecaster and well worth it despite the claims of some. I spend a Gibson Melody Maker now and frankly there is a difference of power and quality back but I love my little tv once in a while! I would do really choice!

UTILIZATION
