OVERALL OPINION

I use it for one month and I feel that I will keep it long. I am surprised by the quality trs sound of the amp: it's the spitting image of Fender and I could reconnatre 100 km. I like the Aesthetics of the craft and the precision with which it reproduces the sound of the instrument. It can be mild or nervous, trs nuance. I have long hsit with the Hot Rod Deluxe but much less subtle and too crunchy, of poorer quality which is perceptible. Then I tried the Marshall DSL401 long but I cart on pain of having to throw the stratosphere. So I put a little more money, and I do not regret it.

UTILIZATION

SOUNDS

This is where all the quality of this amp is.
A clear fall to the ground, it is powerful, with a terrible attack pass the graduation of three volumes, to be crystal-clear with a good strato, round and soft with double neck pickup or a tl rgal a clear sound.
The reverb is nice if not too pushed (the beautiful lamp), the vibrato is also a good level and does not emit too much breath. All for a superb sound.

As important, the receiver keeps a sound okay trs same low volume, the grain is respect for the attack but loses a lot (which is normal), but enjoyable all the same.

OVERALL OPINION

I have only been three days, but I know I found my amp. I like clean sounds, warm and dynamic, a real DLIR fender with good branch above the crunch, I have to wait to be alone because if not rev high volume pedals.
I redcouvre thanks my guitars this amp, it's expensive, but we quickly forget the prize with an equal.

UTILIZATION

The setup is really simple trs.

The sound? Well, it's the whole intrt of this model: AMAZING!

I use it with a "Start Over" with Gold Lace Sensor pickups primarily in blues-rock records and we are in the field of prdilection.

The clean sound is beautiful crystalline wish, but always vibrant with a nice warm sound.
However, the precision is such that all errors will play just as noticeable, so the gaffe hiccups!

The HP Jensen trsractif shows, with a tendency to produce many highs, which requires good rgler the knobs for not sound "loud".

The headroom is IDAL, making the Accessibility assistive certainly possible, but the crunch sound volumes trs important, so watch your ears.

Some regret that there is no channel saturated plutt but I see this as a good thing because we had left the choice of saturation that is desired by the bias including hundreds of various pedals and varied that exist today.

What to say about this sound?
This is a truly exceptional combo that will fill many guitarists that play in registers Blues, Rock, Pop, Jazz, etc..

I had several lamps amp (Marshall JCM 900 Dual Reverb 50W and 40W Fender Hot Rod Deluxe) and I possde it for eight months.
At the outset I think I will not change.

Compared to my old Hot Rod Deluxe, no photo.
Indeed, the Hot Rod as a super dj amp (even when it's a standard) we quickly realized that with the Deluxe Reverb is played in another court with more than "everything".
The Difference in weight and there is also still the Deluxe Reverb is a good compromise with 19 kg.

UTILIZATION

The configuration could not be simpler: you plug the guitar (a Heritage H150 for my part) and we listen play.
If its easy to get a good means to turn any knob in any direction while keeping a splendid, then yes you get a good sound easily.
Be careful though the volume knob: it is not very progressive and 3 were already very big sound.
The manual is like a guarantee because it does not need anything else.

It is perfect for my style of music that is not determined a mixture of jazz, funk, pop, hip hop, song ...
Obtained with this amp sounds typical ... fenderriens (surprising, right?), that is the beauty of the stamp stamped Fender: clear, crystalline but terribly warm, velvety, sweet reminding our ears the sounds that have forged (for example, Motown). I think this amp fits perfectly with my heritage (neither more nor less than the equivalent of a Les Paul Standard), offsetting the fat side and drooling microphones by the clear and bright lights.
Note that by buying this amp, you'll save buying two pedals: Reverb (frankly superb) and Tremolo (simple and effective).
on the other hand for saturation, it does not drive channel, so we must add it a overdrive / distortion cash it very well: I played with a Maxon OD808 and my faith, that sent warm wood.
Last point: if you are afraid that 22 Watts are not enough to rehearse with a drummer for example, well do not be afraid ...

OVERALL OPINION

While I do not use that for two weeks, but actually I needed just 30 seconds to make my choice. I was looking primarily for an amp with a good clear sound. I tried a lot of amps (Bogner Alchemist, H & Kettner, Fender Hot Rod, Vox AC15 Heritage) and playing on this one I did not hesitate: it was clear that the sound I wanted. This does not diminish the quality of some amps I mentioned: the Vox AC15 is monumental for example overdrive.
Honestly, for 1100 euros, the price / quality ratio is interesting, even if it is not given 1100 euros. But frankly, a decade ago, have such an amp for 7000 francs was unimaginable.

It is a wonderful amp, I have a Blues Junior Jensen very good, but the reverb and the clean sound it has nothing to do, the deluxe reverb is over.
I hesitated with more modern stuff: Fender Hot Rod, clubster RIVERA 25, Vox AC 15. But ultimately the Fender won. Its strong point is the sound clear, and it is especially valued the fact that the instruments used and the nuances of the game I emerged from my Start Plus Deluxe that I had abandoned because of a JCM 2000 Marshall. I use it with an Epiphone Sheraton II (microphones Gibson 57), it is velvet. With my Tele pickups custom shop is very precise and incisive.

The only restriction is the absence of master, for the crunch must exceed 4 / 5 for the overdrive to 7 / 8 (where you do more ears and neighbors on the back) .
The solution is to find good pedals that do not betray the amp: the Ibanez Tube Screamer him very well.

I bought it mainly for my home studio to cover a lot of different applications, so for the types of sounds produced, I'll make a small list:

- Start + 5 + reverb vibrato pm: the beautiful intro of the last Arctic Monkeys, bridge pickup in it sounds very 60's small plane on the 007
- Start + Ibanez TS9 gain at least: SRV, beautiful sound of blues well qualified
- Tele neck pickup, volume 4, Reverb 4 / 5: Jeff Buckley, the finger, plectrum, all shades pass
- Tele bridge pickup + TS9 at noon for the general good little riff Riff Keith Hard
- Epiphone Sheraton + reverb and vibrato to 6 pm: Portishead Dummy atmosphere
- Epiphone Sheraton neck pickup, some reverb, it's jazzy fingers

That is, in fact it made a lot of different stuff, but never metal or modern, at first I search for vintage sounds good, I've used.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 15 days.

What I like most:

- The look Fender Black
- TWIN reverb sound with a weight and a reasonable volume
- Warm vibrato
- The true musical reverb
- Inspiring the next
- Respect the game and used guitars

What I like least:

- No Masters
- It does not forgive the approximations in the game
- The Marshall JCM 2000 I will miss the large distortion

I find excellent value for money (970 euros Pigalle), obviously we always love to pay less, but compared to a Blues Junior Vintage 30 to over 600 euros, it holds the road (BJ is great, but its price remains very high). I do it again this election easily.

The Fender '65 Deluxe Reverb is a tube based guitar amplifier with 1/4 inch inputs in the front. It has two channels and two 1/4 inch inputs for each. The first channel is the normal channel with volume, treble and bass knobs and the second is the vibrato channel with settings for volume, treble, bass, reverb, speed, and intensity (for vibrato).

UTILIZATION

The layout of this amp is simple and has the classic controls that originated in Fender and have now become ubiquitous on guitar amps. It is real easy to get a good sound on this amp - just turn it on and turn it up and sounds good! I don't have the manual to this so I don't know if it is helpful or not.

SOUNDS

This amp is great for just about any type of music, as you can get a variety of sounds and has a incredible clean tone. The effects are also top notch - the reverb is a real spring reverb and the vibrato is one of the best of its kind. This amp has become a classic because of these features and the inherent great tone and overall sound it has. I have only used this with guitar and that is what it is intended to be used with.

OVERALL OPINION

I've been using the '65 Fender Deluxe Reverb for about two years. To me it is one of the best amps on the planet, as Fender amps from this time are really just some of the best amps ever made. The overall tone is great and the effects are some of the best of their kind. If you can get an original one of these, it will cost you a bit of money but is probably worth it as it is a great amp with a classic overall tone. This is one of my top choices for amps in a lot of different situations and I can't say enough about how much this thing cranks!

This is a classic 60s blackface circuit with 2 6v6 tubes, 22 watts, a tube rectifier, reverb and tremolo. The main differences between this and an original blackface are: a ceramic vs alnico speaker, a printed circuit board vs point to point wiring, a light weight cab vs a pine cab, differences in the components do to differences in modern and original component manufacturers, no tilt back legs on reissue and a grounded wall plug on the reissue. As the original, this amp has no master volume.

UTILIZATION

Positives: light weight, speaker cab does not sound boxy, 20 watts is great for recording, 20 watts is great for playing distorted classic rock when the amp is on 10.

Negatives: The classic 2 channel design is not very useful (I don't know why it was so prevalent), bright is always on on effects channel, 20 watts is not enough clean headroom for many situations depending on your drummer, the style of music, and size of the band etc.

SOUNDS

The Fender 60s blackface circuit is indisputably one of the best sounding ever designed. I would imagine an original Deluxe Reverb sounds slightly better then the reissue but the reissue sounds great! I recommend using vintage RCA tubes and trying a Weber 12F125 or Celestion 12H30 speaker. I'm sure there are other great speakers too. The oldest reissues use an emminence speaker which sounds bad at high volumes and should be replaced. The Jensen reissue speaker in the newer models is better.
This amp is famous for its sweetness (the 6v6 tube is unique this way) but the low notes are not as big and rounded like 6L6 tubes produce i.e. Fender Super Reverb or Twin Reverb amp. This amp is very versatile but at different volume levels. It goes from a classic clean country amp below 4 to a great blues amp at middle volumes to a rock and rock sex machine at 10. At 10 you get power tube distortion with tube rectifier sag at a volume level that is near perfect for a loud band.
All my other tube amps (newer Fenders, Marshalls, Peaveys) sound poor and anemic in comparison to this amp (though they do have other useful sounds and features). The Fender Deluxe Reverb Reissue sounds more musical with much smoother and much more beautiful harmonics. It sounds stronger, clearer, cleaner, and warmer. And its easier to EQ.

OVERALL OPINION

This amp changed my life! It made me realize how weak and sad many modern amp designs sound with all their features that rob the amp of tone and of how wimpy preamp distortion can be. This amp made me love and always want a tube rectifier if possible. This amp has started me on a path toward getting better more vintage tone and seeking out simpler amp designs. The Fender Deluxe Reverb is one of the most recorded amps in history for good reason. The Reissue Deluxe Reverb sounds great! It may or may not be suitable for live use depending on style and volume since its only 20 watts.
