UTILIZATION

SOUNDS

His level, when the branch for the first time, we say: SHIT! I bought a big bouuuzzze! It sounds really cardboard, not natural, "boxy". Well, it is necessary to relax a little the membrane so that the sound improves. Okay, after a few hours of play, one is reassured anyway. The sound opens, but it is still quite "boxy", many media and not very very deep bass (the amp is still new, so to wander, I'll post again to comment on this).
Lack of definition in the bass, but paradoxically, treble sing really well, it's great on this side for this price range. Not had the opportunity to push the animal to saturate, I'm still flat. But I think that by changing the original lamps should already be able to overcome the problem of too many media present and not very deep bass and accurate (to be confirmed). At the same time we will gain momentum, I would opt for well-tung floor preamp and JJ Tesla power. (I'll let you know!)

This amp has become a MONSTER !!!!! Wonderful! nothing like it! It's hot desire, crunch it is powerful enough to knock my drummer, balanced, nice bass (éminence!! Condos and Mallory), lots and lots of harmonics ... It's just wonderful!

Total blow Modified: 35 euros for a variety of components, the HP 40 euros, 29 euros the transformer:
or 104 euros ... and it's a real beast that has nothing to stand in terms of criticism previously directed ...


Overall, the sound is good, better than the GA5, well then I think it is no surprise. on the other hand if you want to cruncher apartment is not even worth thinking about! Your neighbors have already shot ...
I put 7: 1 point less for the sound a Boxy, one less for the quality of HP, one less for the quality of lamps are also involved in what's not very defined.
Anyway, all this is changing fast, with a good opportunity for HP to 30-45 euros, and a change of lamps, although it must catch up with my first impressions.


EDIT:

This morning I tested the amp with a speaker 12 "+ tweeter (speaker of a mini markbass cmd121P) 280 watts 8OHM ... I found the sound" boxy "with too much midrange, and bass unnatural is completely transformed!
The manual says nothing about the Harley benton cabinet, but it is certainly a lower sensitivity at 90 db SPL.

Head connected to the baffle markbass (99dB SPL) it changes life: bass, midrange and treble singing crystal without being aggressive, all balanced with a great air vent in front of the cabinet quite impressive. Simply beautiful on: I really feel "heat" lamps, 15 watts and send a lot. Playing with a group does not really pose any problems, even with a slugger.
Finally, if you must change something on this amp to improve the sound, first it will be the HP, you'd change your amp. In fact it just feels the weight of the HP, 2-3 kilos for my future HP ( Eminence Legend 105 10 ", 8ohm, 75 watts, 99 dB SPL), barely a kilo for the Harley Benton.

Finally, I do not regret at all, especially as I said, in time, one can find super HP (Celestion G10 Vintage, Jensen Special Design 10 "Eminence Legend 10" Eminence Rajin Cunjun 10 ") to give a soul the poor little [/ b]

OVERALL OPINION

Very short time I played with this amp! 5 days! So the sound will change much. I'll let you know soon to go into more detail. In any case, the receiver has the reserve, and I think he can stand with a drummer, I think if not to death metal to hard ...
Quality / price ratio great, really excellent. It's a small amp that can quickly become much better for not too expensive ... I am thinking of changing the HP base looking towards the occasion .. (wait a edit control HP eminence I'm sure the sound will become more dynamic definition, in short it will really not bad for .. In the meantime the price of future changes to add a gain, and there will be a killer who goes looking for tube amp much, much more expensive. perfectible, so it will not be a beautiful 10 again!

Let's be frank, this is a crap HP unspeakable. But just plug the GA15 in a cab a little drinking and a little more on discovering the potential of the beast. I plug it in the cabinet of a Peavey bass combo in 1x12.

Pooh is the hearts. This is an amp a bit rustic, with a grain blues-rock. All I am looking for the guitar.

A nice clean and with a boost, a nice crunch. With overdrive, bah was a nice overdrive, in fact you can go up through the distortion and drive volume of OD bottom, but has become a chouilla draft. With distortion, not bad, but may be missing some precision.

Plutt I play rock, hard rock and some country, and this amp is really built for.

For the bass is simply gnial. A touch of madness, a sound and a super mini ar crunch when you walk up the sound. On my 1x12, may miss low, but a little bit of legalization and off again! Moreover it is much more efficient on a good speaker. For the slap is simply madness!

OVERALL OPINION

In my vrit ERRF I tell you, it's a report qualitprix was breathtaking.

This is a good amp, good ncessitant HP, or a good cab (should be tested a 4x12).
Thotho at 155 euros, it leaves enough to buy a cabinet.

With a chorus and an overdrive, you will have enough to play a broad spectrum of styles, excluding the metal.

So I recommend to all those who play on the transistor, and those who do not have too much budget and finally to bassists who rvent lamps.

SOUNDS

For sound, it's really good! I'm not a great guitarist so I do not play on a Fender Blues Junior, I'm just small cubes at the moment but having played on a Vox Pathfinder 15W before I can say definitely: that little is better than any lamps any transistor!
Seriously, the sound is warm, round and very pleasant! For all the cons he reveals imperfections in your game is treacherous because it is really accurate in terms of different sounds!
I play it with an Eagle S-1 1978 and a Boss DS-1 Behringer DR600 and sometimes, frankly, the set provides good, it is perfectly sound I was looking for!

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 6 months and I'm really satisfied, very good value for money and I really recommend it to all those who are on the transistor: it is another dimension!
