I put 8 as the footswitch is quite special to maneuver, typical Peavey config that does not put a button for each channel which sometimes makes things live.

UTILIZATION

Setup fairly easy to find if you know what you are looking for, the user guide is useless. Overall a very classic amp where one goes to the essentials.

Only criticism is the activation of the channels via the footswitch which is boring.

SOUNDS

The clean is very comfortable and dynamic. I only use mode 120w richer because in my opinion. Short neutral side is clean is a good working basis.

Warning overall very comfortable low side, natural presence on these frequencies quite impressive but not problematic since the EQ is very effective.

Side crunch is actually a more flexible lead was quickly large distortion therefore calibrate with a little more time. Nevertheless very usable, but those seeking a more clean tarnished with the gain will probably use more pedal on the clean for best results. That being said the sounds are very musical.

Lead side is without LMIT, good reaction to the various options in terms of EQ. It goes a long way but still with a good dynamic and effective restitution.

9 because the crunch is not perfect, he has the handicap of his strength which for me is not a problem.

OVERALL OPINION

Good amplifier for style ranging from pop to funk, to fusion of genres of metal.

Amp character (lead and crunch), resourceful and not very expensive offering interesting capabilities.
