All adj t say, no need to return it.
BMOL simple, no output line / XLR ... However, this is not rdhibitoire I can not see myself having an amp lights and sound to choose me out of scne a line out (I'm not looking polmiquer This n ' that is my opinion).

UTILIZATION

The configuration is relatively simple.
I say "relatively" because the pdalier of CONTRL is not a stunning sense:
- A first switch toggles between two channels (disto / clear)
- A second switch can trigger the High-Gain distortion
- Troisime a switch to activate the Boost clean channel
- Quatrime a switch to activate the reverb and effects loop.

I prfr solution 5 buttons (High Gain / Vintage Gain / Boost / Clean / Effect).
My rating is therefore this criticism.

SOUNDS

I play in a ska / rock / metal. The combination sounds perfect for me.
Frquemment I play this amp with an Ibanez IC400 (original pickups), which dlivre good sound that is saturated equilibrated immediately place in the mix (and yet we are in the 9 group). The clean sound is a little too "slamming", for me who plays ska, it's good, but for those looking for clear, light sound, it will look better with SETTING THE amp.
Me, it suits me perfectly. I was nervous that this amp does not have enough dlivre mdiums, but in this case, it's perfect.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for a week. A week? It's just you say. Certainly.
But I moved forward by four years with a Marshall VS2000 AVT 100, then 2 years with the Vox Tonelab SE. So I had a small (very small) ide of what I was looking for. I would not say I've achieved perfection in sound 5 minutes, the sound has to seek all the time ... But I must say that I was not the RG50TC.
I will not 10/10, because I have not toured in so little time (which is a good sign).
I remember as a quality: price, its saturated (not "dgueu" nor too low load, or in rotting AIGS the mix), power, size reasonable.
I remember as a default: the clean sound too slamming the pdalier not very convenient.

UTILIZATION

Configuration rather simple 2 channel only, the knobs for precisely enough ragissent rglages the rglages enable a range of well diffrent provided they do not do anything

perhaps a bit fragile as any amp lamps

SOUNDS

I play this amp with a Start and a Jackson rrj2 us (sort of jap RR1 ') and boost with emg pa2,

Start with the big rock rock overdrive channel with no problem it is Designed to
Canal clean: clean channel reminds me a little of Marshall with a grain a little rocky nice overdrive with a little roots I go plans like hendrix etc ... of a more honest
small blues nice clear channel is not bad at all 150x better than the line6etc ..
for those who say it is worthless, in 5150 the recoutez clean to compare


with jackson (overdrive channel only) big and heavy distortion very hot (not like VHT or 5150, for example Spirit JCM800.) with lots of personality is what I wanted I normment test of the amp that was distinguished by its heavy sound (not to be a bit too prcis but one example celestion V3O correct this without problem) is large and personalized CHARACTERISTICS nice as the HP celestion harmonic electro lamps etc ...

Randall is a company that has taken the modular preamps by storm. They have build a market for preamp swapping that has ignited the guitar players around the the world. Though this amp is not a modular design it still incorporates the sound and tone that makes Randall power amp a thing of the future.

This is one classy combo amplifier. This design has two channels with three modes. The overdrive channel has a vintage and modern switch. It has external speaker outputs to hook into a 2x12, 4x12, or any other separate speaker cabinet.

SOUNDS

The 50 watt version is a little bit more spongy than the 100. SImply because there will be lesl headroom and the amp with distort quicker. Their distortion channels is what Randall does well. These two channels or one with a twist has enough gain for just about anybody out there. It is a thick and juicy distortion that is great for chugging and lead riffing. Randall makes one of the best distortion in the business and this is one of them.

The clean on Randall are somewhat unique to my ears. They have a Marshall or British style voicing to them that is not that appealing to me. I have never liked a Randall clean channel. It is better than a Splawn that is for sure. The clean is sort of a harder clean that doesn't sound that glassy to me or even reminiscent of a Fender tube amp.


OVERALL OPINION

At new these amps come in at around $560, which is a good deal for a solid tube amp with multiple channels. You can find them on the used market as well for much less.

I would recommend this amp to someone who wants a decent clean channel and an over the top distortion channel for vintage playing styles ad new modern playing. This amp is very versatile and will serve its user quite well.
