Amplifying lamp. Power 15W.

UTILIZATION

Yes, the configuration is simple ... on the other hand for this is to get a good sound, I would say that if you play alone it's going very well. In my case I play in a band with one another and we guitareux bcp bcp difficult to resolve.
I feel that this amp is too powerful, which forces me to keep the volume low enough (I never grows above the fourth volume possible) and prevents me to benefit from the full potential of cattle ... it's a bit frustrating!

SOUNDS

I play Rock type Black Desire Astonvilla, Rage Against The Machine with a Fender Mustang Pawnshop. I just easily the big crunch that gives me this amp when I get to push a little. For the distortion, I pass through a Boss OS-2 rather effective elsewhere.

OVERALL OPINION

I use since April 2012. I did not bcp experience in amps, I just knew that the principle of modeling I did not like at all (its too crystalline, often complex settings ...).
I have been guided by qq comparative tests 2 or 3 stores. I love his sound, but I have so much trouble adjusting with the other guitarist that I wonder if my choice was the right one. I find it hard to assess its quality / price ratio to the extent I think this is an amp that is currently underutilized in my hands ...

The Vox AC15C1 is an excellent low wattage combo amp with supple features and a welcome compact size. Powered by el84s, this AC15 is a twin channel design that is separated by the input. The normal channel has a single volume control, whilst the top boost channel has a dedicated EQ stack. The Tone cut control acts as a pseudo presence control, allowing you to roll off high frequencies. The addition of a master volume on this amps gives you the ability to wind up the preamp for hotter gain sounds. Onboard Reverb and Tremolo gives you more options to enhance and sculpt your sound.

UTILIZATION

The master volume is a very important update to the AC15, giving you the ability to get more aggressive sounds without the ear-bleeding volumes typically involved. The amp is very easy to dial in and the built in reverb really helps accentuate the lush cleans available. The amp is very loud for its power rating and is easily a giggable amp. It is also an excellent platform for pedals, but does not take well to everything.

SOUNDS

I played through the AC15 with a Gibson Tweedy SG. JHS morning glory. Weehbo JCM drive. Strymon Timeline.

The normal channel is capable of very pleasant clean sounds and with the help of a "cleaner" overdrive, such as the JHS Morning Glory, can deliver some righteous sparkle and breakup. The Top boost channel is immediately more percussive and aggressive. Winding up the volume really gets the amp into a useable classic crunch sound. I paired the Weehbo JCM drive to the amp with great success. The amp was capable of copping very modern gain sounds with a great level of authenticity.

OVERALL OPINION

The Vox AC15C1 is the best performing amp in it's price point. It's an excellent pedal platform and outperforms it's closest competitor, the Egnater Tweaker, in sound quality. If you need a giggable amp that's small on size and big on sound, this amp is where it's at. Mic'ing up the amp in a live setting can get this amp more than enough mileage.

Any lamp 15w amp (very drawing), usable in all scenarios through its master volume. A 12-inch speaker that sounds Celstion grennback! Two channels: Normal and Top Boost, with switchable A / B box and mixable with an ABY box.
He has two new switches and standby power metal, not the ugly plastic stuff k'AC15CC1 ...

It's simple if you read the manual to understand the role of EQ and Tone Cut ...

SOUNDS

Clear sound to fall (even better with a good lamp in V1 (or 12ax7C Groove Tubes Tung Sol), warm and bright and round or crystalline depending on the settings (very fine: there are two parametric EQs + 1 tone cut on the last stage of processing power to manage spikes in the treble)
There crunch mid volume, and it is good to cruncher also powers lights. No saturation max, but a crunch of madness, we can Bosst with a treble Bosst, or overdrive playing more on the tone & volume on the drive.
Excellent with a Telecaster, with a warm wish Les Paul, and aggressive when pushed.

OVERALL OPINION

Not too expensive, especially since it is less expensive than its predecessor with a much better HP and an extra channel. She can stick a speaker of 8 ohms or 16, or to add a 2nd grennback baffle which operates in parallel (16 ohms).
It is heavy, annoying to carry (but carrying a Vox walk long distances?)
Hours of great sound good perspective! Rockabilly in his 70's. A legendary amp, bin rather conceived in this version.
It's worth it to change some lights to give it more body. And the reverb by Accutronics more velvety (count 30 euros).
