Behringer Tube Ultragain T1953Published on 10/31/08 at 16:00
The features on this unit are great

Price paid: 100.00 USD

UTILIZATION

The Tube Gain 1953 is a very user friendly device.

SOUND QUALITY

This low cost "Mic Pre" really sounds good. I add warmth to your vocals without over coloring of the sound.

OVERALL OPINION

The fit and finish of this unit is up there with higher priced mic pre's. I'm not sure about the durability of this unit, as it went staright from the box to my rack.

I am really impressed with this entry level mic pre. Do I love it? Nah however I am in extreme like with this joint. It gets the job done what more can you ask for.

Trs simple device, no need to be electrician to use it!

UTILIZATION

Very simple configuration, and complements. Just turn the knobs, that's all ... No edition of the sound, not a synth!

SOUND QUALITY

Dj I left a notice a few years ago on this unit. We "beat", figuratively speaking with other owners on issues dtail. I wanted to rcemment Sparer, finding an ART MPA II Used, like new! Before changing the lamps of ART (the indoor ones are the original ones), I told myself that I did not risk anything to try to see in the Behringer ... Before changing the lamps of ART (the indoor ones are the original ones), I told myself that I did not risk anything to try to see in the Behringer ... Well unlike what I expected (that is to say that nothing happens!), the sound I exploded in his face! No more saturation, a softer sound, all frquences spend much clearer in the treble are more "aggressive" as with the original lighting Behringer is any, even when the artist breathes or is tired, and there is no breath! (I use plutt in "line" for Global Warming my mixes and reading my mp3 stored on the hard drive, the MP3 BUY I prcise!). Do not put the Electro-Harmonix, Sovtek too close, and sometimes even factories in the same factories, put General Electric in 1957! So suddenly, no desire at all to sell the T 1953, I care not prcieusement! Try and come talk to me! You will be surprised!

OVERALL OPINION

So, I stand by what I always said Behringer makes good products, but want to sell too cheap, the German company is deprived of a true success! Just change the lights from all their devices, and you end up with about the results that can compete with the top brands! One wonders then why Behringer is essential lamps too cheap in its devices, as plutt to lamps with high quality appliances in more technically can reproduce the nuances!

There is everything you need on this double pramp a lamp. Visually damn good and logical.
mic / line, phantom power, gain, phase, pass up, and fader levels of the lamp was injected.
Same for the connections. It almost what branch you want (XLR / Jack) in and out.

UTILIZATION

This preamp is perfect for beginners who want to understand "how it works"
Well the little "VU meters" are rather vague but it's behringer ... And it's good.

SOUND QUALITY

What can I say! the price should not expect big sound very flattering and warm Avalon.
Having said these preamps are better than my mackie (1604VLZ) it must be said that despite what people say I have been trs deu ....

Sound lights to bring a little something flatteuret hot but hey it's not ecstasy.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for a year. It is enjoyable to watch, however I bought it with closed eyes (lol) (considering the price).
The report price is exellent quality.
I do not resell because in some situations it is good enough. I Permata to save money by waiting a nobler model.
That said I would do this as the first choice model.
