It is a small (very small) USB card with 2 inputs / RCA outputs, a headphone output with volume, an optical output and a monitor on / off switch (yes, all on 9cm / 5cm / 2cm ....)
I use a laptop Packard Bell easynote to control Live and play virtual instruments in Cubase.

USE

? If the installation of the card is simple .... To say: you connect to a USB port, and it works !!!!
Where it gets complicated a bit that is latency.
Since no driver is supplied, you can safely listen to music, but to play, it is more difficult.
I went on the Behringer website that offers a driver, but he never went out me no sound ....
So I downloaded the driver ASIO4ALL and there, it rolls alone, I have an imperceptible latency.
I put 8/10 because the proposed driver on the site (which in my opinion is useless ...)

IMPLEMENTATION

Two days after receiving it, I used it on stage without any problems. I drive the PC with a keyboard master A80 through a midiman and I mix the sounds of virtual instruments with other hardware sound modules. all is very stable, I've had no crashes. happy guy ....

At 18/04/06, I use it for only 5 days.
The sound is significantly appointment. Of course, this is the moin expensive on the market, but I use a Terratec EWS 88 MT in fixed installation and the noise level, the UCA does not have to turn pale, quite the contrary.
The price / performance ratio of this card is absolutely amazing (you made with 4 outputs no coincidence ?????)
I would do this choice without hesitation

This is the interface to have ABSOLUTELY! the mat of the audio, no driver you branch it works, compatible with any audio software (even freestyler to synchronize the lights and music).
For my part I have 6 and it's great! no worries compatibility level between my various devices and my PC.

I got a nice laptop but with USB 1.1 ports.
Creative doing quite expensive gadget, I was looking for something as cheap as possible but which is still better than the crap in my laptop that I can at least hear the sound of my hard drive electronics ...

I installed ASIO4ALL Behringer but also provides a driver dedicated on his site that I have not tested.
The drivers are the drivers native to XP.

I use Tracktion 2, so I tested the interface with plug Ohmforce yesterday. It works USB1.1 nickel with a latency of 15ms (broadly acceptable).

I play the demos of Tracktion no problem and my projects go well over quite complex. OK, that may drop a little, but it depends on usage. To live, it is the USB2 .0. To tinker on his laptop, the 1.1 is enough.

I will be ordering a small PCMCIA card to USB 2.0 and I think I will be quiet with AC (the map is the 24bit/96kHz)

Critics of Behringer should not have much to say for once.

It is subjective, but the sound is really good. The bass is precise and well presented (listening on headphones AKG K240 Sennheiser HD212 Studio Pro) and the sound is clear and dynamic.

In any case, light years away from the chip integration of my laptop.

Yet, having tried the coup as in need of sound card, I was pleasantly surprised, as behringer boasts, one connects and it works! again, the sound is not too rotten that I found (but I do not very personal) it lacks a lot of fullness and warmth (not surprising for a card which can and are running at 48Khz cna under 16bit all under less than € 40!). In short, it works is simple, low latency.
Esthetic is small and well finished, there is even a SPDIF output otic! good if a little wet home in the autocolant breaks geule but hey, nothing very serious and we want not to Behringer for making money on the glue as the circuits sound card ECTT remain effective. Many problem you install, drivers not days, of instability. In short ntant not a king of linformatique jai bent to the simplicity with this card UCA202. You plug it and hop on. Quune as simple USB key. Operation is simple.
The quality is now a piano jRecording numrique fairly upscale (Roland FP9). No need to pre-amp so. Jenvois outputs directly to the inputs of the card. Rsultat trs good. No breath as some have said.
