I had the SE version with a keyboard yamaha.
Aboard engines arturia simulation of a set of presets little changed.
Ergonomics is good, because the presets are categorized and can be filtered in various ways
The sounds are clean but nothing amazing and most do not serve me anything
This vst is quite heavy, we feel that we board the synthesis engines without its joys

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

This is a good demo of what can arturia but I have not been won for several reasons:
-Simple list of presets, such as a bank's
Too heavy-vst
-Not terrible presets
=> I do not use it

OVERALL OPINION

No bp windows xp, cubase sx and in samplitude (music studio 16, 17, pro x)

Arturia analog Factory was very easy to use and to understand. I had no initial issues with using the program. I think there are a few things that can be changed about it though but they are minor things. First off, the program could be a little more appealing to the eye. It seems really old and generic to me, and when using so many different plug ins that are bright and eye popping then coming to this one can be like a breath of fresh air sometimes just because its dull. But sometimes the visuals of a vst strike my moods, so this one really doesn’t inspire me much by looking at it. But after hearing it, its not hard to get motivated and get started on creating great pieces of work.


SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

Setting it up was easy, no manual needed and probably never will need a manual because the program is that easy to operate. All you need to do is open it up and start using it right away. I really havent got into editing too many paremeters with this software. I just havent felt the need to this far.


OVERALL OPINION

I am really happy with Arturia analog Factory plug in, it has really gave me some good sounds to use, I do like using the pitch bend wheel with a lot of the sounds, not the actual wheel on the plug in, the wheel that’s on my midi controller which controls the wheel on the plug in, in some programs the pitch wheel on the plug in doesn’t work correctly with some midi controllers but im glad this one did work for me. This is a affordable synth that can really give you some classic vintage sounds . it’s a try it before you buy it type of synth though, I wouldn’t just jump out and buy it.

Easy to install, a bit long for a vst (many preset loaded) the only worry is the key synchrosoft to install no problem but I find that being forced to put each time on his computer before play is very shit. I do not mind that secures their software but if you lose the key you can play more, better not think it happens not before a concert ........

I have a computer of 1.7 GHZ, 1 GB of RAM, a Dual core processor
The software works well, it is very powerful, but in spite of my 1 gig of ram, as soon as I open it on my general sequence occurs in at least 15%, for a vst's a lot, but the config is stable ... ... presets as the power varies

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for a year
presets that are programmed to sound quality, very warm sound.

the presets are organized by type of synths (ARP, Minimoog ,.....)
by prog (sequencer, bass, string,
they are also classified by style (soft, hard, grouve, bizarre)
In addition Arturia has paid particular attention aesthetics

that offers analog sounds are very good factory manufacturing, the presets are very recent,
but it is a bank of preset, there are few adjustments and little opportunity to really change them.
Analog Factory really uses a lot of power
If you want to do a song in a program that supports vst
With 3 tracks already more power is reached very quickly in 70% more cpu it must charge all presets to each piece reopened, sometimes up to 20 seconds of waiting which is still good long but good arturia have always made good software but demand for power, too much power.
