FITNESS / PERFORMANCE

Usage on Laptops with the card and the PC SOUND ASIO4ALL.
Very little CPU and MEMORY consumption.
Attacked by a MIDI keyboard KORG X50 via USB cable.
Steering functions COLLECTED REVERB and VIBRATO DRAWBAR by KORG nanoKONTROL 1 (9faders)
PC stereo output mini jack, through volume pedal BOSS FV 50L in stereo,
and entered YAMAHA mixer in stereo to stereo sound.

I also have a HAMMOND M101 (B3 technology spinet) and NEO INSTRUMENTS VENTILATOR.
So I have comparison.
ROCK use group so mainly support and chorus.
Everything is fine and the sound is really great for me since I wired stereo while:
since I use for my keyboards a small stereo sound (see forum on the subject)

I have version 1.2.1

- Installing a plugin for basic

- No incompatibilities encountered

- Level configuration, there's everything you need to settle an organ is: Zippers (pedal, lower, upper), percu, chorus / vibrato, overdrive, reverb, Leslie, keyclick, etc ... We can split the keyboard. Note that everything is controlled via MIDI.

Three models of organs are emulated: The B3, a transistor 70's Italian style and the "red Tolex" style 60 years.

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

- My config: Toshiba laptop 1.6 GHz, 2GB RAM, Sound Card TC Electronic Konnekt 24D

- It works nickel, anyway it really eats very little CPU resources.

- All that is stable no worries.

OVERALL OPINION

- I use it for one month in the demo, and I bought it yesterday.

- What I like most? SOUND! When you play you close your eyes and it seems to be to have a Hammond under the fingers. I tested OrganizedTrio I found cheap, then B4II Native Instruments, I liked, but when I tested the VB3, I immediately understood that it surpassed.

In fact, like a Hammond B4II ... while the VB3 reacts like a Hammond! For me it is much closer to reality. A warm, velvety, soft overdrive, yum!

For me, two things really make a difference with the B4, first the attack buttons, which really seems to me more realistic about the VB3, and then I feel that lack of frequencies B4II .. . as if the sound was filtered. Anyway try both, compare and you will understand!

For the other two models emulated (italian and red Tolex Transistor), although it's nice, by the AC is not against those of B4II.

- The ratio Q / P is obviously the best because it is the best clone of Hammond for 49 euros, three times less than B4II which is yet worse.

- So yes I would do this choice!

No worries installation.

The manual is clear therefore that mastery of English and the operation of a Hammond.

OVERALL OPINION

Purchased two weeks ago after several days of testing in unregistered demo version.

I like the idea to test the software before buying it without either restrained or limited in time. There's just an issue of white noise every 10 seconds. If you want to buy, register it online and we get the code. Once it returned, more than white noise.

Excellent product. The sound of the Hammond is really realistic a real treat!

I have not tested the B4II but listening, VB3 seems better, cheaper, more focused on the Hammond, really complete the settings.

Oh yes, I would do this choice!

It is primarily for this that I wish to bring an opinion because it is always nice to know things between us ... galriens Music News! Well, I have good news to announce on this plug-in, it installs without problem on Vista 64 (can you do worse?). I tried to plug-in in Sonar, "no hassle" and via a stand alone utility for playing VST Manir this and walk. I tell you everything because if one reads the data from the developers, it does not mention, let alone Vista 64-bit ... When I think Waves and its probable armada of computer still can not bring its plug-ins compatible! In addition, this plug-in will be very discreet on your hard drive ... it plays an ant!

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

I have yet to test everything but sounds perfectly fine. I use the NI B4II but as I just learned that we lchent ... I need an alternative because I'm a fan of the B3. Some say it sounds better than the NI B4, well I'm not far from thinking too. In addition, it is ergonomically perfect. A 5 year old child can use it without learning to read. My only inquitudes is: Will he follow. I know this is silly inquitudes when we see that NI, which has set up shop, to help halt the B4 without notifying its customers (the real ones, those who pay the software and upgrades so I am one!) But s is not known Behind this is too soft and does not feel "big" company. Given that for now it's perfect, that the record is clear .. we will post a great score.

OVERALL OPINION

If I compare to other simulators B3 is NOHD, for my part the best:
- Best Sound
- Little CPU resources and space
- Super easy to use (if you know a little obviously B3)
- Any evidence stability
- Ridiculous price
Although obviously I'll take the license for the small blast suppirmer BMD (vidememnt is unplayable with this breath but it does not impede to judge the sound quality)

Go ahead without problem!

There are absolutely no compatibility issues with my Macbook, Logic 9 or Ableton 7. 
The manual is clear enough.  I have never really played a real B3 so I wanted to learn exactly what every parameter did.  It was sufficient enough to make me comfortable on using the interface. 
If you are familiar with the workings of a tube organ, than yes, this configuration is simple.  If like me, you are not, it takes only a few minutes (1 hour tops) to get very comfortable. 
Yes, all the typical functions are easily accessible. 


SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

So far, the VB3 has worked flawlessly.  It responds to my DAW and midi boards very well and sounds great too. 
The VB3 has never crashed on me and has never had a problem instantiating. 
I have to give this a 10 out of 10.  GSi really knows what they are doing, this thing sounds great and always gets complements when heard. 
I have been using this plugin for 6 months.


OVERALL OPINION

The best thing about this plugin as with all GSi plugins, is the superb sound.  I have been around B3's enough to know that the plugin is not a real B3.  GSi did a fantastic job getting a great sounding organ in my laptop, but nothing will ever compare to the beauty that is a B3.  Especially if you have a Leslie cabinet too.  Despite all that, this is a great plugin for those like myself who can't afford a B3 yet. 
There is nothing I don't like about this plugin.  Good Jog GSi.
The sound quality and precision is as close to the real deal as I have ever heard.  Logic 9 and Ableton 7 have plugins that are modeled after a B3, but they are no where near the quality that the VB3 is.  I also have access to Native Instruments B4.  It is hard to decide which is better, the B4 has so many great presets, where the VB3 is lacking.  But overall, I find myself drifting towards the VB3 when I want that B3 growl.
I paid $100 for this plugin and I think it is worth every penny.
I would gladly buy this plugin again if I didn't own it already.
