Gretsch adds four new models to its range of Roots Collection resonators guitars.

Gretsch will introduce at the Winter NAMM 2014 four new resonator guitars featuring the all-new Gretsch “Ampli-Sonic” diaphragm (resonator cone), which is hand-spun in Eastern Europe from nearly 99-percent pure aluminum.

Here are the specs of the guitars:

G9202 Honey Dipper Special, Round-Neck

  • Bell brass resonator body
  • Fender “F” Holes
  • Mahogany medium “V” shaped neck
  • Rosewood fretboard with 19 medium jumbo frets (12 to body), 15.75" (400 mm) radius
  • Scale length: 25"
  • Gretsch Ampli-Sonic Biscuit resonator cone
  • Biscuit – Ebony-Tipped Maple bridge
  • Weathered “Delta Blue” body finish

 

G9212 Honey Dipper Special, Square Neck

  • Bell brass resonator body with “F” Holes
  • Square-shaped Mahogany neck
