«  Outstanding!! »

In my case, I bought the combo Kustom FOR 200/115, ie a combo of 1x15 "200 watts RMS into 4 ohms but the amp is exactly the same as the head DE300 HD.
Head delivers 300 watts of course instead of 200 for my combo.
But since the combo is not yet included in the list of Kustom amps, I give you my opinion here.

So this is an amp with tube preamp (12AX7 Electro Harmonix 1) which delivers 200 watts RMS (or 300 per head).
The settings are very simple but very effective: a tube for the gain level tube preamp, an EQ with bass, mid and treble, 1 bass and 1 contour contour high. These two contours are very useful because they act precisely and premettent to custom tailor the sound of the amp to the acoustics of the place where we play. For more information, see the website of Kustom.
Then there is the volume control.
There is an entry for active bass and a passive bass input.

At the rear, there is a connection to DI with pre and post EQ switch with the ability to send the console to the raw sound of the amp or sound with a simulation of the HP amp. There is obviously an effects loop, tuner out and a auxiliary output for HP. On the combo, this output turns off the signal sent to the HP but the combo to the head, there are two output jacks for speakers.

In combos, HP are Eminence. So it's quality that HP is also found in high-end Fender amps.

The knobs are of high quality, réglalges are accurate and effective, the components are also first choice and the construction is solid and flawless.

UTILIZATION

Configuration is very simple. The presentation and use is very vintage but incredibly effective! The manual is clear and precise.
And most surprising is that the beast SONNE serious !!!!!!
This gives a hell of his very easily, I was really amazed by the power, punch and its incredible that this little beast can spit!

SOUNDS

I bought this combo because I'm tired of carrying my body around triple stack and thus for small clubs or scenes averages, this combo is fine.
I played a hundred concerts a year with various groups, but mainly I play good solid rock and roll with a lot of classic rock cover. I need a big sound very big, warm and round but I also like that my sound is clear and well defined. I push so usually a little low and the treble a lot by digging mediums.

With this amp, I immediately got the warmth and roundness of the sound of a tube amp and the HP 15 "is also something to KKE.
In addition, it may be pushed to the max without fear of damage. The following HP property and high gain and volume, we get the typical crunchy sound of old tube amp. In short, a delight!

I play exclusively on Fender bass. A Jazz Bass Classic 70 and Classic 50 Precision. Good bass passive, although roots.

OVERALL OPINION

The combination of this amp with my bass is truly exceptional!
However, I have tested dozens and dozens of amps Ampeg SVT Classic through Trace Elliot or Ashdown or SWR and it is largely small Kustom comparison!!

Obviously, we must compare what is comparable to this game, I'm sure the Kustom is unbeatable in terms of value for money.
The Kustom Deep End Series can be compared to the series of MAG in Ashdwon example. Ashdown I know well and to have good quality home, he must pay the price. The new series is really disappointing MAG.
For the same price or even cheaper, Kustom provides material of excellent quality, a sound worthy of the greatest brands and a manufacturing quality impeccable.

In conclusion, for me, buying this amp was a shock véritbale.
For the price, I did not expect such a result to tt.
Kustom brand is not distributed everywhere, but if you have the opportunity to try this brand of stuff, go for it !!!!!! You're on your ass, guaranteed!!
A brand that deserves to be better known among us ...
