This is a Peavey 90's, so Made in USA, very heavy, very solid.

transistor, 250W into 4 ohms and 400W into 2 Ohms
two volumes,
input low / high,
push bright,
push boost,
severe acute and active
9-band graphic equalizer
chorus (frequency, rate, deph)
4 jacks (effects loop pedal for the chorus, chorus in and out)
buttons compressor on / off and chorus on / off
behind: outputs to the speakers, on / off button

UTILIZATION

According to the bass and the speaker that is plugged in, it will play EQ, which is complete and accurate, so to change regularly depending on the piece, the band, bass, style.

It goes down to 2 ohms which allows you to connect a lot of different speakers depending on tastes.

SOUNDS

MARK VI can suit many style even if its a "rock" undeniable, as the graphic equalizer is formidable precision, you can have many different sounds with the same bass.

You want the overdrive? Possible.
Sound fretless 80's with Chorus? Yes yes.
Foils for acute mediator? OK.
The big fat sound with fingers? No problem.
Mortal slap? Too.

My equipment consists of the Mark VI head and a Peavey speaker "January 18-SUB", a 18-inch, I 250 W concoctions that enough.

I think you'll understand: it is in the best ensures that serious with this configuration. I play with flat wound strings, I have the opportunity to have a dull sound and round but "fat", not typed Ampeg, with a leading compressed just enough hair. Warning: transparent sound does not mean "cold", it's full, it resonates. The record is rather beefy but never rough.

I tested it with a 2X12: its soft, still formidable and powerful.

OVERALL OPINION

I've always enjoyed the "neutral" amps: Torque, Laney, Peavey, Boss ...

The strengths of this amp: versatility (respect of the bass sound with just a little more potato) and power, this is a monster ... with my single enclosure I have "only" 250 W, Watts but true! Frankly, at the moment I do not have the utility to add an additional cabinet.
