In usb dmx, I already use Enttec Enttec pro and open without any bugg either, and the martin LightJockey 2 with software that is of course much better and is much more efficient than freestyler.
the most: do what you asked for not very expensive, 3-pin XLR
Cons: very plastic and made of poor quality
The snap time is hard to follow when it is too low (<200ms), but I do not know if it's just the interface or software. it does not come because of my LED PARs works great on console Granma. it's still a little manip I use as my go leds have strobe function on a channel.
I would definitely recommend!
