DJ software developer MixVibes has announced the release of Cross, its new digital vinyl software for Windows and MAC platforms.
Cross features a scratching algorithm when used with MixVibes's control records/discs. It uses the same control records as MixVibes' DVS software. Cross can also be controlled via MIDI and is already compatible with several controllers including the Vestax VCI-100 and VCM-100, Numark Total Control, and Pioneer CDJ-400.
Cross will start shipping in the USA March 23rd and will be available at all MixVibes retailers.

MixVibes announced the release ofl Cross, its new Mac OS X & Windows software for DJs.
The interface displays the standard professional DJ tools: manual and auto loops, BPM analyzer, BPM matcher and locators...
On the interface side, a “summary” tab displays an overview of the media encoding quality.
"The Z-plane master tempo technology allows +/- 20 BPM variations with virtually no sound distortion," according to Mixvibes.
iTunes is integrated in the program, enabling the import of playists. Covers are also included.
