The Beatkangz's Beat Thang is now slated for a Summer 2009 release.
The Beatkangz have decided to go with an all metal housing. Also, the small monochrome LCD with will be replaced by a full color 3.5 inch video grade deal.

Beat Kangz Presents the Beat Thang

Beat Kangz have released the Beat Thang beat machine, which includes 3000 sounds and 500 hit beats, patterns and loops.
Each sound can be edited, tuned and manipulated with onboard waveform editing and digital EFX (EQ, Compression, Reverb, Delay, Filter and “FREAK”). With USB in and out and Mic/Line input, you can add your own Samples. Create your own custom Kits with up to 8 layers per pad (each layer can have its own pitch ,pan, volume, cutoff and res).
The Beat Thang comes with a 16 Track MIDI sequence rdesigned to sequence internal sounds or external sound modules. No need to put your kick, snare, and hi hat on separate tracks anymore.
