Crown XTi 1000

I bought this amp for an amateur gospel group whose budget is very tight. It serves as a receiver front associated with 6 full-range passive speakers the Box PA302. He is attacked by a Yamaha 01V96.

He holds his position perfectly sound amplifier, power and finesse of his are at the rendezvous.

This is an amp that includes a digital processor further configurable. It is necessary to connect a computer via USB on the receiver (cable not included) and download the free editing software HiQnet Band Manager on the site Harmanpro.

So I have available two shelving filters, an equalizer, sub-bass generator, a time to set the time alignment of speakers connected to this amplifier, a limiter, a switching input (stereo or Y) switching of speaker outputs (stereo or bridge), 20 memory locations to save the settings, the possibility of locking the front of the amp.

PA302 sounding speakers with great precision, they have great potential, but are not really balanced in their frequency response. They include very little bass.
With this amp and a PC, I was able to rebalance the whole spectrum, enhance the bass, and even create virtual sub-bass speaker that can not normally be issued (sub-harmonics).

Result: in my opinion and my ears (just because I'm accustomed sound engineer), I could recreate a sound quality really fall down on this type of cheap speakers and this amp with adjustable!

I can only recommend this amp, the settings are effective, it can permanently correct the response of any speaker and prevents the purchase of a dedicated processor for each speaker is used as long as we have some concepts in acoustic settings.
