I play as guitarist/vocalist. Though at this point I am not an active gigger anymore I still record in my home studio. I also play bas - keyboards. My musical taste is very broad, I basicly like everything except for umpapa music & muzak. I've been playing the guitar for a good twenty-five years now. Bands; WAIF, Mox and currently a small prject called DWCork.

I currently have two L5's. The first one I bought from a friend in the mid 80's for about € 250 when he stopped playing and got rid of all his stuff. The second one I bought through an ad about two years ago for the same price.

The L5 is a sturdy piece of work. It has never let me down even after falling off stage it still kept going. It sounds nice and clean, has a great reverb and allows a lot of different styles. The wheels are very handy. Eq is very reasonable and the built in compressor is a nice finishing touch.

That they aren't being made anymore.

Built like a tank, nearly indestructable. In the twenty years I've been using it I only once had to replace a pair of Lamps.

Though they are difficult to come by if I can find one I won't hesitate to buy it the can be used for nearly any instrument, I have even used it for drummachines, bas & vocals. Very good price/quality.

I bought this amp from a so called friend in 1978 for 600 dollars...who said it sounded good! After a week the valium wore off and I realized how bad this amp really sounded. It didn't take long for me to realize this baby was as bout' as usefull as a screen-door on a submarine. Holy crap this thing sounded better goin' down the stairs at my Grandma's house... evidently she didn't like for her acordian either...

aaaa where you listening?

How much time have you got?

before or after the stairs

solid state sucks
