40-watt (I think, after all it's called PG40!!) solid-state amp.
Clean channel plus distortion channel, reverb. Line output.

UTILIZATION

Settings: Simple, you get a surprising vintage sound but you'll need to use a pedal too. I like to use my Maxon 00D9, for example.

SOUNDS

I play punk rock and the sound is ok. I haven't played it on stage recently. I used it for the same music style in the 80's. I'm thinking about using it again in pubs because I'm not fully satisfied with my JCM800 sound.

I play only Les Paul Junior guitars. At home I get a pretty fat sound (with the following settings: high 2, mid 2 and low 7). The sound with the effect pedal is very good but I have to try it live and I must admit I'm a bit uneasy. But this amp is nice because it has a strong vintage feel!

OVERALL OPINION

I've owned it for 27 years! It was my first amp! Nostalgia was the reason I kept it and it's a pity that I sold my guitar from that time, a '78 Ibanez Musician. I can't remember how much I paid for it! Of course it's not comparable with a good Marshall (the JCM800 is my favorite...) or other tube amps... Nevertheless this amp is nice because the more you turn up the volume the more it produces a crunch sound like a tube amp!
