Prince Piggy-3

Transistor amp brand "PRINCE" who created such famous "Pignose" used by Clapton to his studio recordings.
Robust design, it presents primarily as a clone of the Blues Deluxe: the vintage look of the canvas, his pots, the vinyl coating "tweed", reminiscent of the famous series of Fender.
Two inputs (high / low) gain, volume corrections (trebble, mid, bass), distortion, reverb, and even a built-in tuner: A 440 (tuning frequency)
The distortion is not a second channel (no footswitch), it is a distortion that can be switched manually.
The power is impressive, but unlike Fender is linear: you can play 1, 2 or 3 volume for a clean sound without killing your ears! At 10 it's really hard!

UTILIZATION

One can easily find a nice sound for this amp, which is yet all transistor has an amazing heat, grain "light" without lights! It reminds me of the sound that I bought with my Tube Screamer in 1982 (yes!) no lights and great sound!
It goes from clean to crunch his adding gain with the knob 1, the same is done if you want the distortion with the knob in question.

SOUNDS

The range of sounds is impressive, the most clear sound (position "Bright" selector Trebble) Shadows typical Fender style, through the greasy blues and even the good old 70's hard, this amp has plenty to offer!
Plus it greedily accept any effect pedal!

I tested it with: Strat, Tele, Gibson SG, Les Paul Washburn, Epiphone Dot ...
each guitar is its color, its own characteristic sound.

VERSATILE is the watchword of this amp.

OVERALL OPINION

I used both the scene for the studio, robust and really weak (redundant?)
Sold there's no time and I regret it!!
Amp very rare, never met another that one in 30 years of "road" ...
