UTILIZATION
The guitar seems to be modeled on the original plans guitars which it is based. The shape of the handle a little square, measurements etc.. The woods are against different. Usually walnut handle here in mahogany and features a truss-rod (twenty-first century requires
Choice of wood species corresponding to the price of the guitar. Engelmann massive table that is the main thing.
Mechanical side, the guitar is not in the tradition with lift covers and galalith buttons. But individual Grover chrome brass gear buttons are visible and effective and elegant.
In terms of its use ... it is made to play jazz manouche ...
SOUNDS
Unlike the GC42 "Big Mouth", this "Small mouth" is exclusive in its use ... But in the swing-jazz record. She is very good.
Good power, great definition and mainly a response to the attack immediately pick leading to sustain that goes down quickly and maintaining that without blur the clarity of sound. Exactly what is expected of this type of guitar.
She holds the comparison with much more expensive counterparts.
OVERALL OPINION
Happy owner of a GC42, I offered the little model mouth. Finish overall at the same level (a tad below). But essentially the same level of excellence as the sound obtained. A thumbs up for this series Dell Arte Paris-Swing that allows musicians to acquire a reasonable amount of good-Selmer Maccaferri copy. I note that the brand Gitane is doing well also in the genre, just a bit expensive in the same range.
I recommend this little mouth without reserve.
