«  this is a good guitar »

Value For Money : Excellent
This is a made in usa course. Pickups are a 490R and 498T (the same as a standard). The handle is "equipped" trapezoids and not points, as the "special".
In short it almost everything a great.
The only downsides are that I would: - polish too thin and too fragile wood (therefore less sustain) There really is a big difference with a standard on these two points..
The good side is that it is lighter than standard and there is less wrong between the shoulder blades at the end of concerts (or rpeter).
I would advocate change for mechanical sperzels (those that were originally fitted are just a little), but it is only a personal opinion.
I think this is a guitar that offers excellent value for money and allows a quality instrument in the hands for a reasonable price.
Of course if you can buy a standard or custom do not hesitate!

UTILIZATION

The handle is less "slippery" than a standard because of the varnish.
Ergonomics are good, easy access to acute.
The relatively light weight is nice.
I play on a double corp marshall JCM 900 (dual reverb, 5881) I manage to have a good sound.

SOUNDS

I used to play as a "fat" sound as the zz top. For "clear" sounds, nothing beats my strat.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for several years and this was my first gibson.J 'have since been the aquisition of a standard sg and I abandoned too often my "les paul".
I do not have the money at the time to buy a more expensive guitar, and my les paul studio faded worn brown allowed me to have a gibson at a reasonable price.
I've attached we spent hours together and I do not revendrais, although today I have other guitars.
