I think that says it all ...

I'll add my personal touch: I find it aesthetically beautiful, a little relic (quickly though eh, it's not great art, but fun!), Chrome microphone on table with beige gold rim giving a nice visual effect head ... a nice shape! For the price of Cygnus, the finishes are still very successful.

UTILIZATION

The handle is very nice. It is relatively thin, very very end, but more importantly, it is not polish the back, allowing the thumb to slide like on ice ...
Following on the fineness of the handle, it's good for solos or plans from the 8 or 10th case ... to the top of the handle (chords or riffs), I prefer thicker! But hey, I love this guitar, I'm not going to "go down" for this ...

I find his correct weight 3.7 kg weighs exactly because, against 4.3 for a Les Paul! There is still a great difference, right? Moreover, the body is 4 cm thick against 5 for LP ...
Concerning the form, it is almost identical to that of the LP ... the little notable difference being the point of the "horn" is less pointed and rounded Ltd on the LP! That said, it is normal body LP may not be reproduced in the same I think ...

The access to the treble way! Let me explain ...
Already, it is not a "V" or an ESP or Jackson as "Strat" so it will be less easy to go far enough. A bit like what LP! For a guitarist like me, an average level with small hands, it is less the evil from the 15th box (I speak for the index!) ...

Finally, it is very well balanced ... like all I possessed Ltd. elsewhere, whether it's low or mid-range!

SOUNDS

I play mostly distortion, whether rock, hard, heavy, total nag, etc ... it pulls out of the game in all of these areas!
I had a chance to try on a Roland Cube mag, and already, I found that for the price it was a good sound! I was almost surprised that ...

Since I have this Ltd, I play either a JMP1 low / medium volume, and a Carvin V3 medium and high volume. Nothing to say ... Even Drop D (have not tried lower by against) the grave emerge specific mics which do their job. A bit like EMG-HZ, while being less sharp in the treble solo.

In arpeggios neck pickup for example, the sound is always accurate, while being a bit more velvety than HZ example. I compare with HZ because I sold one in HZ Ltd H250 therefore, to buy it ... and scrape range are equal I think.

OVERALL OPINION

I've had a few weeks to replace a Ltd H250 (see my old gear), which I liked, but I wanted a change! I chose the EC256 because there was a good occaz on the right corner!

Sure, this is not high end but it does not bother me. I think it does the job well, it has an original look and repeat at home or with friends, nobody finds anything wrong ...
As I believe that the premium does not need me, I continue with this kind of guitar and it suits me.

Think to try it anyway if you are interested. A notice may help them decide to go ... tested! It is in a lot of shops, so it's a good thing.
I posted a video in "media" or Judge Fredd us about the beautiful and plays quietly ...

Zique good at all!
