The Vienna Symphonic Library team announced the release of the revamped mixing host Vienna Ensemble Pro. The software offers a cross-platform LAN solution that can incorporate both Macs and PCs into one network using an Ethernet cable. New features include 64-bit support, 3rd party plug-in hosting, dual architecture servers to include both 64-bit and 32-bit instruments and effect plug-ins, the intelligent Preserve function, and the free bonus library Epic Orchestra.
Introductory Offer
Through October 7, 2009, the price of Vienna Ensemble Pro will be €145. On October 8, the price will go up to €195. Users of the predecessor Vienna Ensemble 3 (which is no longer available) may download Vienna Ensemble PRO as a free upgrade and have the option to get the Epic Orchestra Pack separately, only through October 31, 2009.
Vienna Ensemble Pro Features
Whether on one computer or on cross-platform networks, with Vienna Ensemble Pro, users are able to integrate their arsenal of VSTi/AU virtual instruments and effect plug-ins, 64-bit and 32-bit versions, into their setup. Major features include full 64-bit support to use all the RAM available in a Mac or PC, unlimited audio tracks via LAN, dynamic latency compensation, audio input channels, flexible routing, mixer automation, and more.

VSL Ensemble Updates

VSL has updated Vienna Ensemble to versions 2.0.3203 / 3.0.3203 for Windows and 2.0.3208 / 3.0.3208 for Mac OS X and the Vienna Instruments to version 2.0.3203 for Windows 2.0.3208 for Mac OS X.
All share the following changes:
* Custom Data Folder is freely assignable again.
* New Syncrosoft licenses added.

Additional instruments for all modules including the PLUS Libraries The Vienna Symphonic Library announces the release of seven Extended Libraries complementing its already existing Vienna Special Edition download products.
