Characteristics
Hello,
I own a 2000 model CORT SF 5X.
It's simply the best quality / price in the range 300-800 EUR.
This guitar is very versatile and is particularly well suited to play fingerpicking.
The characteristics of that I own:
-Solid cedar top (A) with natural finish (a real beauty, very rarely model Cedre)
- Format GRAND AUDITORIUM
- Pan cut (Ideal for access to acute!)
- Back & sides Mahogany neck
- Fretboard rosewood
- Very comfortable
- Fishman Prefix EQ
- Micro MATRIX
- Grover gilt
- Great finish!
- Excellent audio!
- Korean Fabication very high quality
I did some "research" for months, I soon forget the Yamaha, Crafter, Fender (discomfort, not the options I wanted) ... as well as Taylor, Martn, Lowden, Avalon (for obviously the price !)...
Here below some info on the new SF series that my taste is not as well because:
-Fishman Classic instead of Prefix
Micro-Sonicore instead of Matrix
Mechanical non-gilt

The new models may seem cheaper but they simply lower quality options ...

Je possede une CORT SF 5X modele 2000.
C'est tout simplement le meilleur rapport qualite/prix dans la gamme 300-800 EUR.
Cette guitare est tres polyvalente et convient particulierement bien au jeu en fingerpicking.
Voici Les caracteristiques de celle que je possede:
-Table en CEDRE MASSIF (A) avec finition naturelle (une vraie beaute, modele tres rarement en Cedre)
- Format GRAND AUDITORIUM
- Pan coupe (Ideal pour l'acces au aigus!)
- Dos, eclisses et manche en mahogany
- Touche en rosewood
- Tres confortable
- FISHMAN Prefix EQ
- Micro MATRIX
- Mecaniques GROVER dorees
- Superbe Finition!
- Excellentes qualités audios!
- Fabication Coreenne de tres haute qualite
J'ai fait des "recherches" pendant des mois; j'ai vite oublie les Yamaha, Crafter, Fender (manque de confort, pas les options que je desirais) ...ainsi que les Taylor, Martn, Lowden, Avalon (pour leur prix evidemment!)...
Voici plus bas quelques infos sur la nouvelle serie SF qui a mon gout n'est pas aussi bien car :

-Micro Sonicore au lieu de Matrix
-mecaniques non dorees

Les nouveaux modeles peuvent sembler moins chers mais ils ont tout simplement des options de qualite moindre...

I tried dozens of models (Crafter, Yamaha, Takamine, Ibanez Cort SF5X ...); This also really the best finish for my taste! Look at yourself Inside, everything is clean!
Yes I would do this choice without hesitation, it's a dream guitar for a musician who does not wish to confirm to more than 500 EUR in an instrument ...

Tres bon rapport qualite/prix pour une guitare avec table en Cedre massif mais bien sur; tout massif ca aurait ete encore mieux $$$ : (
J'ai essaye des dizaines de modeles (Crafter, Yamaha, Takamine, Ibanez...); Cette Cort SF5X a aussi vraiment la meilleure finition a mon gout! Regardez vous-meme a l'interieur; tout est clean!
