Prampli srement trs reliable, but I note a serious vibration in the lamp!

UTILIZATION

Channel enjoyable, like all Takamine guitars. Access in acute pan is facilitated by the blow but its ergonomics (dreanought form) and less easy to use forms that jumbo.
The sound is without a doubt, trs good! It's a powerful trs I prfre far all Taylor guitars that are in low-end, two times more expensive!

SOUNDS

Trs good sound but the fact of playing in picking and / or attack more frankly the bass vibrates the lamp of the "cool tube", the prampli by itself vibrates too. This is dtail extrment Gnant for musicians looking for a sound without any parasite! Taylor guitars are actually more reliable level.

OVERALL OPINION

This guitar appatient one of my lves (I use 3 years personnellment a Takamine Santa Fe ESF 40 C, with a silent prampli is much more reliable than light "dessert sometimes progress the quality and robustness of prampli, so the lctronique)

I do not wear it. The batteries make me two concerts. Always take a set of batteries.
I am comfortable on it. Picking, blues, Rhythmic wild aggressive rock are my domain.
I had to do as a replacement with an accordion to accompany traditional bagpipes. No problem in all areas. I put him in the ass ... boos pedals for electric ... it's genius! EM20 for the boss. Seriously, it sounds of thunder!
For strings. I think I had to adjust. It does not frieze, but I frequently breaks the "ground".

Many critics criticize this Takamine guitar (Takamine or in general) but I think it sounds good. The sound is warm is subtle. It must be some playing time so that it opens new because it sounds a bit steep (be patient a little).

I can tell you that this is a good guitar because I have the chance to be proud owner of a Martin D28 and a Taylor 414. Evidence that Takamine yet still my home and I play very often.

A lot of my friends even prefer the Takamine in his warm, result of mixing cedar & mahogany.

Regarding power I have to admit that it does not have an impressive chest, but once connected it works wonders with his tube preamp, connected to an acoustic amp, preferably as the result is not the same if you plug it into a amp for electric guitars.

Overall, this is an elegant guitar is easy to get into a mix. It does not sound as bad acoustics despite its pure sound power while a lil bit limited.

Channel pleasant but a little thicker at the bottom a Martin or Taylor. I find it comfortable but pass over the thumb is not always easy when you move the 7th box (depending on the hands of each).

FLAT PICKING clearly a guitar. I find it does not sound enough for acoustic finger picking.

For sound. It takes at least 2 years for the guitar sounds less stiff and more. It becomes comfortable from some playing time in fact.

In acoustics: I dislike more than that. It may very balanced (too) flat and neutral. It does not really sing and some personality.

on the other hand, beautiful harmonics in the wood, sustain "in" the guitar (if you stick your ear on the bar, we hear a lot of shades).

Unfortunately, we do not find this effect outside of the acoustic instrument. Too much too little volume and projection. The mild but little power indeed. Its very round table with Cedar.

We find this both a character to Takamine. The preamp tube works perfectly. Lots of power and heat. A clean and versatile settings. It can get loud in the treble if you push too Eq. I've had a little over 2 years. I tried the Seagull, Ibanez and Yamaha but the Takamine is a favorite. Nuanced afterwards because she did not plan enough in pure acoustic sound. It was quickly covered by the voices of people at a party with friends for example, or outdoors. There is no power.

on the other hand, once connected, is happiness. This is clearly an electric guitar. Prefer a real acoustic (without preamp) to play at home and / or finger-picking.

Live, it will do wonders with his preamp effective.

Warning: the only real flaw for me a very fragile because of satin varnish (no protection against bumps and snags, however small, this guitar brand instantly).

I do not do it again this election and wait to buy a Martin D28 or Gibson Jumbo (J200).

Meanwhile, it suits me perfectly electro only. It's a shame it is not as well-in acoustics. Surely it will age very well with its solid wood and quality.
