When i asked others about what studio monitors to buy, they all said Rokit speakers. So this is what i went for. These are incredibly easy to set up and because the they are active (self-powered) speakers, you won't have to worry about finding or hooking up a separate, matching power amp. The Rokit's internal amplifier ensures maximum driver efficiency for tons of crystal-clear headroom and instant studio integration. These speakers are the perfect studio monitors for any home or professional recording studio.
They feature:
- Radically curved front plate design virtually eliminates diffraction distortion
- Waveguide design provides amazing detail and imaging
- Front-firing port provides low freq extension without boundary coupling
- New speaker voicing for even more accurate frequency response
- 1-inch Neodymium soft dome tweeter

SOUNDS
In my honest opinion, these are the best sounding speakers i have ever heard. The KRK Rokit RP5G2 is the next evolutionary step in a long line of successful and respected professional and home studio monitoring products. The sound is clear and crisp, perfect sounding. These monitors, like most studio monitors, have the ability to maintain a flat response. These speakers however pack a punch. When they start playing, and it gets loud, you'll never want to turn them off. Also, they look pretty sweet! With the center speaker yellow and the rest black, these will add style to your studio!
OVERALL OPINION
Overall, these speakers are the bomb! Literally! For the price, why wouldn't you buy them? For only $120 each, its an offer you can't refuse! These are the only speakers i have ever used, and i am not planning on using any others. I am happy with my choice and i am telling you GO WITH THESE SPEAKERS!!!!!!
