extended bandwidth...no sub needed
using for mixing in a studio along with an RME multiface.
SOUNDS
loud, and they go down pretty low, and the mid+high range is very accurate.
superb stereo image (correct placement), the bass is very round without being loose, close to Genelec 8040 in sound, but louder
OVERALL OPINION
I used them for 2 weeks. My old adam p22a monitors were less accurate in the bass, but similar down low ..
and very precise treble as well
the positive: lots of correction switches on the back of the monitor, very neutral across the whole bandwidth .. except for below 40-35Hz of course, but I dont feel the need for a sub, as I did with the Genelec. Great for electro, reggae, dub ...
the minus: the only little thing is my xlr jack seemed too tight and got a bit stuck.. but hey, apart from that... nothing to say!
