Characteristics
4U rack mount unit completely XLR connectors (12in / 2 to n / 2 out), completely unbalanced (and yes ... :-)) is apparently a willingness on the box towards the sound of not having the symmetrized signal after numerous tests. (It costs more expensive and mainly increase the price of the machine) it removes AC points. Quick tip damage: not linkable to insert before the output section. it's all analog, passive inputs, all-tube output stages. There is a section of eq very well used and typed (a bass lift that sweeps off to refocus on what 50hz when it mounts the volume, a lift top that does the same but for a 10kHz bass and top cut a section for stereo spread manage the wide with a low cut of it and a knob to increase mono signal (very handy, especially when leaving the summons stems from a global mix, but just for example keyboards stereos or other.)) and especially a knob attitude harmonic distortion of up to 1% distortion at max setting ... without comment, it's just amazing that button!
unité 4U rackable connectique totalement XLR (12in / 2 aux in / 2 out), totalement asymetrique (et oui... :-) ) , c'est apparemment une volonté de la boite vis à vis du son de ne pas avoir symetrisé le signal apres de nombreux tests. (ca coute surtout plus cher et augmenterai le prix de la machine) ca lui enleve des points. Petit truc dommage: pas d'insert linkable avant la section de sortie. c'est du tout analo, inputs passifs, etages de sortie tout lampe. Il y a une section d'eq bien utilise et tres typée (un bass lift qui balaye large pour ce recentrer sur 50hz quand on en monte le volume, un top lift qui fait pareil mais pour 10khz un bass et top cut une section stereo spread pour gerer la largeur avec un filtre coupe bas de celui ci et un potard de progression mono du signal (tres pratique, surtout quand on sort de la sommation de stems pour un mix global, mais juste pour des claviers stereos par exemple ou autre.) ) et surtout un potard attitude de distortion harmonique allant jusqu'à 1% de disto au reglage max... sans commentaire, c'est juste genial ce bouton!

Sounds
the sound is very distinctive but at the same time this is requested. the advantage is that it is versatile because there are REAL bypass the knobs on any of the summing so if we just got back in and the tracks that bypass all it is pretty transparent. on the other hand of it touches the knob attitude and eq section there it starts to sing a sudden (but dangerous, too little gun down by any excess of it's great fun I) EQ effective but very special, difficult to describe. Induces the bike forcememnt of breath and besides, I'm still wondering if I will not send a balanced signal in the face because she headroom so monumental before to twist .... there is room and suddenly I have a lot less breath when I do that. I remove a point to breath even if it's really not embarrassing.
EDIT: After having long been used I do not take off point for breath, I'm going to and from a signal at +4 instead of -10, it does not budge a yota saw the headroom. .. and much more real blast.

le son est tres typé mais en meme temps c'est ce qu'on lui demande. l'avantage c'est qu'il est versatile car il y a des VRAIS bypass sur tout les potards du sommateur donc si on rentre juste les pistes dedans et qu'on bypass tout il est plutot transparent. Par contre des qu'on touche le potard attitude et la section d'eq là ça commence à chanter un coup (mais dangereux, on peu aussi tout flinguer par exces de c'est génial je m'amuse) EQ efficace mais vraiment particulier, difficile à decrire. La becane induit forcememnt du souffle et d'ailleurs j'en suis toujours a me demander si je vais pas lui envoyer un signal symetrique dans la tronche car elle à un headroom monumental donc avant de la faire tordre.... y a de la marge et du coup j'ai beaucoup moins de souffle quand je fais ca. j'enleve un point pour le soufle meme si c'est franchement pas genant.
EDIT: Apres l'avoir longement utilisé en fait je ne lui enleve pas de point pour le souffle,je lui fais rentrer et sortir un signal à +4 au lieu de -10, il ne bronche pas d'un yota vu le headroom... et du coup plus vraiment de souffle.

Overall Opinion
I've had it a month. I listened to others for me is the best with the chandler. (In style of course) I will ever be the choice I think yes, but I'm still missing a step back. I love the look, sound, simplicity, knob attitude. value for money ... euhhh .... it's super expensive but super good value for money so good but ... dear :-)
EDIT: Forgot to mention that in the genre Manley is great too but there is one more in the same price range ...
So the price level as fat bustard is really great and I push it back in the nail with this attitude ... knob a blessing!

je l'ai depuis un mois. j'en ai écouté d'autres pour moi c'est le meilleur avec le chandler. (dans son style evidemment) je referai le choix oui je pense, mais il me manque encore du recul. j'adore son look, le son, la simplicité, le potard attitude. rapport qualité prix... euhhh.... c'est super cher mais super bien donc rapport qualité prix correct mais... cher :-)
EDIT: oublié de preciser que dans le genre le Manley est génial aussi mais là on est plus dans la meme gamme de prix...
Donc niveau qualité prix le fat bustard est vraiment génial et je réenfonce le clou avec ce potard attitude... une bénédiction!
