Characteristics
Monophonic synth two CSOs, 1 ADSR + AR, and VCA + envelope, no modulation! So an analog synth trs trs limit can not change the waveform (a saw and a pulse on each CSO) ... Hard to put more than 3 / 10.
Be aware that this is a synth DIY (Do it yourself) that is to say that we must buy it and mount kit is even, making a great deal of work! It is also the synth that most mods (modifications) on the net you can find tons of amliorations ... So an interesting concept.

Synthé monophonique à deux OSC, 1 ADSR + AR, et un VCA + enveloppe, pas de modulation! Donc un synthé analogique très très limité! On ne peut pas changer les formes d'ondes (une saw et une pulse chacune sur un OSC)...Dur de mettre plus de 3/10.

Sounds
It does little but it does rev well. The Fatman as its name indicates his big and broad. When the branch is the surprise! Great sound! Really wider and larger than a SH-101. He is an American bass like a good Yamaha CS-15 ... that limit the sound it produces is professional and trs trs vintage. A little more aggressive than the old synth of the 70 but it is in tune with the times, so a good investment trs.
Il fait peu de chose mais il le fait très bien. Le Fatman comme son nom l'indique à un son gros et large. Lorsqu'on le branche c'est la surprise! Un super son! Vraiment plus large et plus gros qu'un SH-101. Il fait des basses à l'Americaine comme un bon Yamaha CS-15...bien que limité, le son qu'il produit est très professionnel et très vintage. Un peu plus agressif que les vieux synthé des années 70 mais c'est justement dans l'air du temps, donc un très bon investissement.
Overall Opinion
I put 9 / 10 because of the relative quality price. You will not find cheaper (around 200 EUR dja built). on the other hand you will find much worse. In the analog type, with the south, you'll have plenty of synth rescent that sound like pots and pans (see eg REDSQUARE or MFB). The Fatman is the fact it's in the big let it be said ...
Je met 9/10 à cause du rapport qualité prix. Vous ne trouverez pas moins cher (aux alentour de 200 EUR déja construit). Par contre vous trouverez beaucoup moins bien. Dans le genre analogique, avec du midi, vous aurez beaucoup de synthé rescent qui sonnent comme des casseroles (voir le REDSQUARE par exemple ou les MFB). Le Fatman est là, il fait dans le gros son qu'on se le dise...
