You type transistor bass amp combo (with Intgr HP), 200W RMS, HP 2x10 "+ tweeter (not dbrayable) input jack (passive / active), RCA type" line "for the connection of a CD player or other (quite handy for its music rpter prfres) Output DI (direct inject) to XLR and headphone. Correctors: gain, bass, mid, treble, selector "shape" (sort of legalization prselectionnes curves, five in total) volume.

Intgr multi-effects which can be fun but unfortunately produces a lot of breath (allows for a delay, a simulation of overdrive lamp, some type synth-bass sound, a chorus ... a button etc. can select the preset, a second level and a troisime its Settings, clean each type of effect)

The look is sober (sober, it is a black cube), the amp is solid.

UTILIZATION

Simple to use (you turn the knobs and you play)

The effects section is unusable (too many blows) damage.

His "Ampeg" for rock to reggea through the metal
If 200W are the one should not hope to ring trs trs strong either (especially with its somewhat creuss in medium)
-> So for large volume, the DI is useful to be transplanted by the PA.

SOUNDS

I played with an Ibanez EDB 600 active
Rglages noon with the amp, a direct sound.
It's quite like his synthetic, do not n'esprez purring like an SVT head of the same brand. Here, the sound is right regardless of the rglages.

It's pretty much what I was looking (I have a SansAmp GT2, upstream to make it purr)

OVERALL OPINION

Good amp overall.
I tried (at the time of purchase) eliot a Trace 15 "(150 W), an SWR Workingman (100W, 15"), a peavey, an EAR (not bad either and the one I had the opportunity to play a Nemesis 200W (12 "+ tweeter) and a Fender BXR300 300W (15")

the ampeg is doing well trs (similar to Nemesis).
The fender is nice too ...

+ Power, sound
The simplicitbr + /> + the look sober
+ Casters (it is heavy)

- Breath
- The effect section (we pay) but is unusable
- Finishing (I opened it to see) no extra for an amp of this price (about 1200 purchase)
N1 edit ------ ------------
I return to my opinion about 2 years APRS purchase.
This amp is good, get a good sound is simple. It is powerful enough to be heard.
However, the tweeter is quite noisy (lots of steam and electrical hum), see too noisy. What started out a little silent Gnant fills me more ...
In short, without this "bad" point, this amp is excellent. I put 7 / 10 in global opinion instead of the 9 / 10 dcerns to beginners.

Edit N2 ------ ------------
I finally dconnecter the tweeter (no switch, not cool) and then finished the breath and acute sputter (the tweeter appears to be a dark shit)
So I'm open as possible the amp to handle the files inside. It's ampeg - understand the big stuff Rican - and although I think the finish is not an appointment for an amp of this price ... bcl it inside (fitting the vinil, rock wool, etc ...)
If you want an ampeg as over not go wrong, go after the classic "SVT 3" or "SVT Classic" range of BA seems to be a level of quality under all of the same ...

This is a good amp, but questions over quality / price, we have seen better.
