Aguilar DB 285 JC cabinet now available
By Cannonball on 05/14/2008
Aguilar Amplification announce that their new DB 285 JC cabinet is now shipping.
The DB 285 JC was designed in collaboration with Hot Tuna & Jefferson Airplane bassist Jack Casady, who was looking for a portable cabinet that would reproduce the dynamics and articulation in his playing with just the right blend of deep bass, accurate midrange, and smooth treble. The result of their collaboration is the "Little Jack", a cabinet that according to the manufacturer should satisfy any bassist who wants big studio quality sound in a package that is easy to get around.

The cabinet handles 300 watts RMS into 4 ohms and houses two 8" cast frame woofers and one 6.5" midrange driver for a full range of tones. With a wide frequency response and a sensitivity rating of 95 dB 1W 1m, the DB 285 JC was designed to pick up subtle nuances in any playing.

MSRP is $849.00.
