Characteristics
So to start is the Billy Sheehan signature prampli 2 channels with a single 12AX7.
A clear channel, 1 channel saturated (thank you billy!)
when it connects between the rear prampli "power amp" amp of your head, it automatically takes over your floor of amplification and uses Tage power of your amp head, so in clearer, it uses the power of your amp head.
to connect, nothing more simple, with a jack, you connect "preamp out" of prampli and you connect between the "power amp in" of your amp head.
sr well, plug the power cable to the mains and press "power" of prampli and red LED lights!
ah! ah! ah!

for rglages is not complicated, for the clean channel, gain, bass, mid, treble and volume with two buttons: mute (mutes the signal) and pad (rduire allows the level of between instruments or assets s owner pickups with high output).
for channel saturated; gain, bass, mid, frequency, treble, master volume and two buttons supplmentaires; chanel select (for channel selection) and combined (to put the two channels together and saute the house! !)
the rear of the vehicle, an output "foot switch" for pdalier (delivered with the beast, 2 outputs "preamp output", a saturated output channel and one for the sound clear, and why? because a system that uses billy stereo amplifier and you can use the same principle leisure using a speaker for clear sound and another for its saturated !
even when it is unusual in the realm of bass amplification!

APRS, is "transforming balanced output" No one can rgler the output level of each channel with a level knob and you have an XLR output for each switch with a 2-post / pre, you can plug channel directly on the Tagus external power or a mixer, and with the 2-position switch on the clean channel it is as if we availing oneself of a direct box lamps, must be more qu'apprciable for fans of home studio picky!

lorsque l'on connecte le préampli sur l'entrée arrière "power amp" de votre tête d'ampli, il prend automatiquement le relais de votre étage d'amplification et utilise l'étage de puissance de votre tête d'ampli ; donc, en plus clair, il utilise la puissance de votre tête d'ampli.
pour se connecter, rien de plus simple ; avec un jack, vous connectez à "preamp out" du préampli et vous le reliez à l'entrée "power amp in" de votre tête d'ampli.
bien sûr, branchez le câble d'alimentation sur le secteur et appuyez sur "power" du préampli et là, la LED rouge s'allume !!!

pour les réglages, c'est pas compliqué ; pour le canal clair ; gain, bass, mid, treble et volume avec deux boutons ; mute (qui coupe le signal) et pad (permet de réduire le niveau d'entrée des instruments actifs ou possédant des micros avec haut niveau de sortie).
pour le canal saturé ; gain, bass, mid, frequency, treble, volume et master avec deux boutons supplémentaires ; chanel select (pour le choix du canal) et combine (pour mettre les deux canaux ensemble et faire sauter la maison !!)

For me, the configuration is as clear as crystal!

The manual is quite clear and explains very well how this prampli and bonus, was the regulation of the focus right style; "smooth", "slappin '", "mid & fuzz .. .

Pour moi, la configuration, c'est clair comme de l'eau de roche !!
tu grattes les boutons, et t'as le son !!
on obtient facilement un bon son ; tout dépend comment vous réglez le préamp !!
le manuel est assez clair et explique très bien le fonctionnement de ce préampli et, en prime, on a droit à des réglages du style ; "smooth", "slappin'", "mid & fuzz"...
tu grattes les boutons, et t'as le son !!

For me, it may be appropriate any style of music, I also think, we should confine arrter ampeg sound of rock and are the rglages, fingers and especially bass players of his brain that are style and not the amp!
I plugged my Yamaha TRB-6 in and I can say I found the perfect add-ins my head ampeg B2R!
the sound of this prampli is more oriented sounds warm and it is this "little extra that makes all the difference" with my head ampeg B2R.
for his slap-bodied, no problem!
for his funk / medium rather groovy and that puts your bass musicman stingray for, no worries!
and jazz, I'll not speak ....
I prefer that sounds, it's all I have marked above.
that I prefer the less it is a certain lack of precision in the treble, but I must say, I did not pass over one week every glimpse rglages; Clear Channel is already well on its own, so when you flip the channel saturated; must grow before!

Pour moi, il peut convenir à tout style de musique ; je pense d'ailleurs, qu'on devrait arrêter de cantonner ampeg à un son rock ; ce sont les réglages, les doigts du bassistes et surtout son cerveau qui font le style et pas l'ampli !!

le son de ce préampli est plus tourné vers les sons chaleureux ; il y a ce "petit plus qui fait toute la différence" avec ma tête ampeg B2R.
pour un son slap qui a du corps, pas de problèmes !!
pour un son funk/médium qui groove et qui fait passer ta basse pour une musicman stingray, aucun soucis !!
et le jazz, je t'en parle pas....
ce que je préfère en sons, c'est tous ceux que j'ai marqué au dessus.
ce que je préfère le moins ; c'est un certain manque de précision dans les aigus ; mais, il faut le dire, je n'ai pas passé 1 semaine dessus à entrevoir tous les réglages ; le canal clair est déjà bien tout seul, alors, quand vous enclenchez le canal saturé ; faut se pousser de devant !!

I use it last night!
I love the most, the possibility to plug in stereo, the sound round and warm sound saturated BLEND the two channels, the hallucinatory power of the machine ...
I like the least, the fact of not being able to tamper with the sound with surgical precision as on my B2R! (Fawns all I care, if I want to replay on my B2R, I dconnecte the prampli and I found my sound ampeg specific on!)
I dj ssay buster bass 400 of the home mesa / boogie, a hybrid head Hartke lamps / transistor, to ampeg rocketbass (gnial!), old-elliot trace of APRS war ...
Report qualitprix question, it's very good hardware, is virtually the same hardware professional hardware for the love of her!
I remake this choice with the exprience that I live so it makes it warm ct B2R missing my head and all these things she did not (distortion, stereo ...) I think it's the perfect companion for my head B2R!

ce que j'aime le plus ; la possibilité de le brancher en stéréo, le son rond et chaleureux,le son saturé, le mélange des deux canaux, la puissance hallucinante de l'engin...
ce que j'aime le moins ; le fait de ne pas pouvoir trafiquer le son avec une précision chirurgicale comme sur ma B2R !! (de toutes façons, je m'en fiche ; si je veux rejouer sur ma B2R ; je déconnecte le préampli et je retrouve mon son ampeg précis !!)
