It's funny: I happened the same adventure, one hour after the start of a copy that I had just bought. The first half hour, so good. Then I put it out for dinner. After dinner, I want to listen to a piece of Chopin and there, nothing: the LEDs are lit, the CD (CVS 640 Cambridge, as well) runs obviously, but no sound comes out! I turn off both devices, the on again, nothing to do. The CAP5 does not blink either. I drop. I turn it off again and will take my shower, getting ready to go to sleep. However, puzzled, before going to bed (and to sleep in peace), I make a last attempt: I turn once again the two devices (the player and the amp) and then, lo and behold, the LED drive Cd located on the front of the amp turns off and the amp starts to smell burning! I unplug everything at once and go to bed, determined to bring it for service. What do you imagine that it happened the next morning? I do a final test before packing up for the service and to be there, divine surprise, he starts to walk normally for hours. The sound is there, and the smell of scorched disappeared. I did not understand and still do not understand what could happen. Since I live in fear. And I do not know if the problem is with the receiver or reader AV2 640 640 CVS. I would tend to an amplifier problem. And I can not recommend it for purchase under these conditions. Regards.
C'est curieux : il m'est arrivé la même aventure, 1 heure après la mise en marche d'un exemplaire que je venais d'acheter. La première demi-heure, tout va bien. Puis, je l'éteins pour aller dîner. Après le dîner, je souhaite écouter un morceau de Chopin et là, plus rien : les diodes sont allumées, le lecteur de CD (CVS 640 de Cambridge, également) tourne manifestement, mais il ne sort aucun son ! J'éteins les deux appareils, les rallume, rien à faire. Le cap5 ne clignote pas pour autant. Je laisse tomber. Je l'éteins à nouveau et vais prendre ma douche, m'apprêtant à aller dormir. Cependant, intrigué, avant de me coucher (et afin de dormir en paix), je fais un dernier essai : j'allume à nouveau les deux appareils (le lecteur et l'ampli) et, là, ô surprise, la diode du lecteur de Cd située sur la façade avant de l'ampli s'éteint et l'ampli se met à dégager une odeur de brûlé ! Je débranche tout immédiatement et vais me coucher, bien décidé à le porter au SAV. Qu'imaginez-vous qu'il advint le lendemain matin ? Je fais un dernier essai avant de le remballer pour le porter au SAV et, là, divine surprise, il se remet à marcher normalement, pendant des heures. Le son est bien là, et l'odeur de cramé a disparu. Je n'y ai rien compris et ne comprends toujours pas ce qui a pu se passer. Depuis, je vis dans la crainte. Et je ne sais pas si le problème provient de l'ampli 640 AV2 ou du lecteur 640 CVS. Je pencherais plutôt pour un problème d'ampli. Et je ne saurais le recommander à l'achat dans ces conditions. Cordialement.
