Iced Audio has updated AudioFinder to v4.9.2.
Changes:
* Added vertical zoom options to the Sample Tool.
* Added folder selection to the Save Library panel.
* Added "Add BPM to Name" to prepend the current BPM in the info view to the filename.
* Clicking mp3/aac file types will show the bitrate in the AudioViewer info view.
* Improved MP3 conversion so that files that are not 16 bit are converted properly.
* Added a shortcut key for "Use Regular Expression"
* Fixed a bug in opening certain mp3 files in the Sample Tool.
* Fixed a bug where newly created files would not be added to the current folder.
* Fixed a bug where sometimes AudioFinder would quit right after launch.

Iced Audio has updated AudioFinder to v4.9.1.
Changes:
- Innovation - Added Waveform Miniviews. Seeing is hearing. Miniviews display the Waveform right next to the filenames making it easy to quickly grok the file's contents before listening.
- Added new Waveform Preview Cache controls to the Preferences.
- Big performance improvements in browsing folders.
- Added the ability to drag a Scan Set into a Sidebar folder.
- Other bug fixes.

Iced Audio AudioFinder v4.9

Iced Audio has released version 4.9 of AudioFinder.
The company says this version introduces a new easier Flexiauth Code system. Users no longer need unique codes for each of their computers. If you are already a registered user you'll require a new code to run this version, the new code may be requested free.
Changes:
- Complete overhaul of the scanning engine.
- Scanning now up to four times faster.
- Improved scanning memory usage, now an order of magnitude more efficient. Much larger scans now possible.
- Improved robustness when scanning encounters corrupt or badly malformed files.
- Improved non-sound filtering in the list view. Now excludes Unix folders from the integrated window.
- Stopping a scan keeps the results up to the current moment.
- New feature Folder Templates panel in the Windows menu for creating instant folder structures.
- Enabled Auto Serialize Preference for mp3 encoding.
- Fixed a bug exporting mp3 clips.
- Fixed a bug exporting AIFC clips.
- Other bug fixes.

Iced Audio has updated AudioFinder to v4.8.4.
Changes:
- Added Plug-In Report feature to the Plug-In Manager for generating a html report of what's currently installed.
- Added Preference to the Audio Tab "Extract ReCycle files at original tempo". Depending on the file this open might yield a more useful extraction.
- Added Preference "Decoding Cache" for compressed audio file formats, which converts mp3, aac and lossless to PCM files before playback.
- Added Selection Clip dragging support for MP3, ReCycle, Flac and Vorbis files to the AudioViewer.
- Fixed a Scanner crash caused by some .mov files.
- Fixed Tone Generator when used in combination with the MOTU 828 mkII.
- Newly created files by AudioFinder are always added to the playback history now.
- Moved the Waveform Preview Cache to the Caches folder.
- Please manually delete the old cache files located at: YourHomeFolder/Library/Application Support/AudioFinder/Waveform Preview Cache.

Iced Audio has updated AudioFinder to v4.8.3.
Changes:
- Overhaul to the ReCycle importer.
- Converted ReCycle files now have slice markers in them where the slices in the original format are.
- Added the ability to open ReCycle files in the Sample Tool. Note they are converted to AIFF in the process.
- Added "Double Clicking Waveform Preview Opens Sample Tool" option to the Tools Setup.
- Fixed a bug where the Tap Pad could stop playback in the player.
- Fixed a bug that prevented the Waveform Preview cache from being used.
- Fixed potential crash on quit bug.
- Fixed a crash when closing a Sample Tool while it was still playing.
- Fixed a bug when playing files dropped on the Dock icon.

Iced Audio has updated AudioFinder to v4.8.2.
Changes:
- Added the ability to set custom icons and colors to Sidebar folder items and items inside Sidebar folders.
- Added "Create Slice at Cursor" in the Sample Tool Edit menu.
- Reduced CPU Usage during playback in the AudioViewer and Sample Tool.
- Improved the responsiveness of user feedback selection range in the AudioViewer.
- Refined the Autocrop DSP.
- Added a preference for date displays to be the international standard.
- Fixed a bug that required restarted AudioFinder when changing the hardware output device.
- Fixed a delay when hitting the space bar.
- Changed Autopilot Playlist and Loop transport controls to not require modifier keys.
- Power Rename changes, made return key default, serialize now starts at 0001 and no longer adds extra space.
- Added "Disable Double Clicking Action" to the Tools Setup to disable opening tools when double clicking on a sound file.
- Keyboard shortcut improvements in the List view. Command-Up Arrow goes back one folder level. Enter key on a folder navigates into it.
- Fixed arrow keyboard shortcut navigation between the Folder Column Browser and the Sound List View.
- BPM field now updates to reflect the Pitch Shift/Varispeed keyboard control.
- Added Normalize option to the Change Gain panel in the "Process" menu.
- Made room for one extra line in the list view by move the status line.
- Other bug fixes.
