News Numark iCDMIX 2

All-in-one DJ player from Numark belonging to the DM series

Numark announced the availability of its iCDMIX 2 integrated CD player mixer system.

Numark CDMIX systems consist of a dual CD player and mixer together in one easy-to-carry unit for mobile DJs working events, clubs that need to be able to pack away their system quickly and any other DJ on the move.

iCDMIX 2 contains a dual-deck CD player that plays CD and CD-R discs. iCDMIX 2 features Numark’s electronically buffered Anti-Shock skip protection.

With iCDMIX 2 DJs can access points within the track using multifunction jog/shuttle wheels. The wheels are also helpful for controlling pitch bend. DJs can pitch tracks up and down for easy beat matching.

In addition to standard single-track and continuous playback, iCDMIX 2 offers programmable playback, enabling DJs to set up a sequence of tracks for playback. It can also set cue points in real time. All CDMIX systems also have Fader Start functionality, designed to automatically start cued-up playback when the DJ moves the crossfader.

iCDMIX 2 features a three-channel mixer. Each has a mic channel, a dedicated channel for the iPod, as well as replaceable crossfader and pre-fader cueing controls. For the main channels, DJs can switch between the onboard CD players or rear-panel RCA inputs for additional CD players, additional iPods or turntables with preamps such as Numark’s TTX USB or TTi.

DJs can cue with headphones using 1/4-inch and 1/8-inch stereo headphone outputs with level control.

While iCDMIX 2 is housed in a metal chassis, it can also come with the optional CDMIX CASE 3.

Pricing & Availability
iCDMIX 2 is available from DJ and professional audio retailers for $449.00 U.S. and an estimated street prices of $249.95 U.S.
