> Characteristics 8/10
(Originally written by MyHouse/translated from Audiofanzine FR)
- rack mountable
- 2 +1 channels / three outputs
- XLR/RCA
- no internal effects but you can connect an external effects processor (FX send/return)
> Utilization 8/10
- easy configuration and connections
- almost useless user's manual except for the fader and crossfader settings
> Sounds 8/10
- excellent sound quality
- no audible noise
- 3 band EQ (+/-15 dB)
> Overall Opinion 9/10
- I bought it two weeks ago with two Technics turntables. Ideal for vinyls
- no drawbacks for the time being, except maybe the headphone volume control on the front panel
- great value for money, a bit expensive but very good quality and it has a three year warranty
- I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again because I just need a good mixer for two turntables and that's it.

- Can you mount it in a rack?
Optional brackets.

- What kind of connections (RCA, phone, XLR...)?
RCA inputs (mic input via jack), RCA monitoring and recording outputs plus two master outputs (XLR and RCA).

- How many channels, groups, aux sends and returns ...)?
Two phono/line channels with 3-band EQ + one mic/line channel with 2-band EQ, one send/return in both main channels.

- Does it have parametric EQ?
No.

- Is there an integrated effects section?...
No, only send/return for an external effects processor.

It's perfect if you don't want onboard effects but you do want the possibility of using external effects via the send/return.
> Utilization 10/10
- Is it easy to make settings?
Yes.

- Is it easy to access the main functions?
Very easy. But the headphones and PFL/mix level controls are placed on the front, which can be annoying (not for me).
> Sounds 10/10
- Does the desk sound "transparent"?
Yes.

Does it generate noise?
You can hear some noise when you turn the gain and master knobs all the way, but nobody ever mixes with such settings.

- Is the EQ effective?...
Very effective, each knob fully kills its frequency band (-infinity/+6).
The desk also provides convenient "isolator" switches.
> Overall Opinion 10/10
- How long have you been using it?
1 month.

- Which feature do you like the most / the least?
Pros: Compact size, big knobs, faders and crossfader accuracy (for mixing, I don't scratch), user interface, XLR master output, punchy sound.

Cons: None, although I would prefer a croosfader with a longer scale but it's a small detail.

- Did you try any other models before buying it?
Yes, from Gemini, Rodec, Korg and Allen and Heath.

- How would you rate its value for money?
It seems to be good value for money but I'm not sure yet because it's not old enough.

- Based on your experience, would you buy this product again?
Yes I think so, but only in case I needed just two channels.
