How long have you use it?
For about a year. I use it with 2 Numark CDX and sometimes with two Techniks MK2.

What is so special that you like most and least?
Goodies: already the price (I bought it used a friend's nine but even cheap). The software interface simple and intuitive, I was not very nice and I did not like the skin of origin, then I found a site for personalized so the negative becomes positive. The visual mp3 (the form of sound) is great practice, and we can see that some even put it in full screen, the inconveniant is that we ended up not being able to do without ... The ability to insert VST effects (in addition to classic effects already present). The sampler (even if some default). The ability to assign a single button click. In terms of housing, the fact that it uses only one input on the mixing desk is super convenient, notement when only two track and four decks (cd and vinyl). To scratch, mix or pass pass, it remains stalled, do not worry, even when it's not bad technique. I use it on one side in relative mode since I have a CDX with its optical death (she jumps for no reason) and no problem, have the mp3 its course without flinching ...

Cons: The files created for each TQD mp3, p'tit is a detail that can be annoying but at the same time keeps the loop and cue point in memory, even if you move the file. The sampler, which comes out on a track (your choice), not practical, a third output would have been welcome, or use the headphone output of the box (an idea that comes here). The failure to open the log without the box, even with another M-Audio sound card, it would have been handy to have at least one platinum usable history to prepare the same set without the box. The fact that we can not use with 3 turntables, but there is a problem for all software box, even if the sampler is more I find ...

Have you tried many other models before buying it?
I esseyer the Serato, and other software (without housing) as Traktor, Virtual DJ and MixVibes. On Serato interface I did not like at all, and the side "mac" either (no right click). The other software is pretty complicated at interface, except that I found Virtual super intuitive, but less complete than Torq. Torq with all the best "complexity / intituivité" if we just say ... As for the box Connect, which can make gadget at video but in the end is much more practical than you spell that Serato 6 RCA cable for two turntables ...

How would you rate the quality / price?
Excellent. In the box where I work they buy Serato, but even if it is more expensive, I preferred to stay on the Conectiv. I had a bug with the version (with external hard drive crash, crash during loading double + double reading), but since the version 1.07 more concern, with heavy use every night, so value for money nothing to say. Especially with the Serato I had some concern ...

With experience, you do again this choice?
Without hesitation. Even now with the arrival of cheaper competitors. M-Audio quality is there, and update are square (although the scope of the pay version 1.5 is a bit hard to swallow).
