«  good alternative »

after having tested quite a dvs system, I made my way to cross, I use it with 2 timecode vinyl turntables and an iphone for the effects

GETTING STARTED

The software installs easily enough, the general pattern is very simple;
by side against a French software manual for instructions not in French!

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

it is very stable, I have not a super powerful PC but it runs well.

OVERALL OPINION

I tested a lot of change but dvs config pc regularly to monitor updates me soft swells.

value for money is best is really to replace the patties, do not compare to software like traktor that are more comprehensive but more expensive and demmande a powerful pc.

a forum with a reactive team, a preferential price for the passage of a cross mvs7, resalable license.

Now the less personal and adventures:

mapping midi is pretty easy but is accessible to light the LED for example it becomes quite complex and less affordable. some mapping are not usable for me with the CDJ400 example: if the control is not led or info screen as Cross does not support HID and not cdj In midday (after mixvibes of) I have not tested with timecode cd.

concludes with a controller mapped original timecode or vinyl (my N4 is too new to have a mapping off and 400 cdj decks are old (2 years).
for me it's a great alternative that is not constrained by the choice of sound card should not tell them that it is archaic not properly manage the cdj 400 (+ LED screen) if you are told to look elsewhere ....
