China

I do not know if I tried the model 60 or 40, but it is a perfect copy of the Gibson J-45.

Just the head was a little too flashy for my taste ...

UTILIZATION

Round top, not too heavy nor too light, class!

SOUNDS

I compared it to a J-45 Rosewood Model and you believe me but I preferred the Blueridge and off, his open and crystal!

OVERALL OPINION

I'm waiting for my Gibson J-45 (standard) and I compare come again ...

A quarter of the price of a J-45 rosewood and the top ... as mentioned above, there is just the head with all these inlays that makes a little too flashy for my taste ...

All solid wood.
In fact, this guitar is (at least in terms of form), an imitation of Gibson J45 (some say it sounds as good ....)!
19 frets, the neck is attached to the box at the 14ME (well enough I think this is one folk, one does not solo death-who-kills with this kind of guitar! )
Bridge and bone nut!
Dcoration a lot of style pearl on the fretboard, we love ..... or you do not like (perso. I do not care, only the sound m'intresse!)

UTILIZATION

Channel trs enjoyable and easy to play.
CHAC is sufficient to acute (see above!)
Excellent ergonomics: lgre and trs good balance!
Trs guitar sound rich in possibility.

SOUNDS

I am a pop / rock / acoustic. This guitar is well trs my style of music but I think it fits a lot of style diffrent.
I like the sound of this guitar can go from soft trs (acute round good mdiums not aggressive and low) close to that of a guitar amp electric lamp (with a nice low attack, high power and heat.)
It has many possibilities and reserved.

OVERALL OPINION

2 months of use.
The best: the sound!
The least: I do not see .....
Excellent qualitprix (502 euros new).
I would do without this choice hsiter.

EDIT: 4 months that I play it and I confirm: this guitar is superb, excellent sound, I love him more!

EDIT2: more than a year of use, I put D'Addario strings, and I find it even better, never jou on a guitar as good except one Larrivé and a Takamine, the two more 2500 euros not at all in the same line! It's perfect, I love it!

The Blueridge BG40 is an acoustic guitar made in China. Until recently I was not familiar with Blueridge, but after playing a number of their models, I'm glad that I now know about them. Don't let the fact that this guitar was made in China fool you, as it is very well crafted. The guitar isn't an acoustic/electric, so there aren't any setting controls to talk about here.

UTILIZATION

Playing the Blueridge BG40 proved for me, to be a very easy task. For an acoustic guitar especially, I found it to have a very fluid neck that I could easily navigate throughout. I found it easy to play both rhythm and lead parts, which is saying a lot of an acoustic. It has a the standard dreadnought style body and shape, and the weight isn't anything out of the ordinary.

SOUNDS

Pretty much instantly after picking up and playing the Blueridge BG40, I was impressed with its crisp sound quality. It is definitely on the brighter sounding side of dreadnought acoustic guitars, as it is vibrant and cuts through very well. I haven't used the guitar for recording yet, but the BG40 seems to me like the perfect recording guitar because of this bright sound. Even though it is bright, it is definitely full bodied and covers up the full spectrum you'd expect from an acoustic guitar.

OVERALL OPINION

Not only does the Blueridge BG40 have a great tone, but it is also beautiful to look at, which can definitely be a consideration when it comes to acoustic guitars. I was at first struck by its look, then the price, and then the overall feel and tone. I was very surprised to see such a beautiful looking and sounding guitar with such a reasonable price. While I don't yet own a BG40, I'm looking to add it to my guitar collection sooner rather than later.
