The Optimod 8100 / A is a classic, broadcast applications.
Analog, 80's, transistor, connectors and terminal symmetric connection composite stereo models for broadcast, record rs232 extension to connect the 6 bands (XT2).
2-band compressor, gate, peak limiter, HF limit stereo / mono.
UTILIZATION
Configuration adjustable buttons behind the front panel, protected by a cl.
Making a sliding card, very robust, filtered HF / RF.
Grand measuring instrument needle is led newest version.
Designed primarily for FM stations, may also be useful in the studio.
SOUND QUALITY
The classic sound of the Optimod proven long ago, a large majority of private and national FM stations still use to this day.
Compression very pleasant, flexible, sound output cinch not to emphasise, in addition to containing the composite output for stereo multiplex FM stations.
Controlled room to gain. can be used only for FM or TV station.
Available with 6 bands, with the additional unit XT2, quite rare, to strengthen the power of compression.
OVERALL OPINION
The Orban Optimod is a classic, rather suitable for broadcast applications. Exellent and practice. Very professional, countless quality, price accordingly.
